🙏 🐕 Please Help me help Kota find a foster or Fur ever home. 🏡
Kota needs our help. I know our intake is closed and I am full at the rescue, bit I can not see Kota going to the humane society being 10 years old. Senior dogs do not do good at all.

I have no pens available and I will need to make a pen for her to stay with me. I have had her before while her family needed to find a new place. She is so sweet, minds very well, house broken and loves everyone and everything.

Please help me find her a home so she does not have be at my rescue. She is currently living in tha car. Please no negitive comments. The owner is going through a hard enough time as it is.

Kota is very healthy and has a lot of life and love still to give. Please call me Michelle Brock atv605 515 3364 if you could help us with her until we find her a fur ever home. We will supply you with everything you need for her.

I will be getting her later today in Rapid. We do require a vet reference, your landlords information and a home check too.

Look at these 2 puppies that are now ready for there fur ever home. Cheyenne and Dolly were Born Aug. 8th 2026. 2 female lab/shepherd mix. Well socialize d. Potty pad trained. They also go outside. They were bottle babies that had a very rough start and went through fosters until Carrie.

If you remember there was 3 puppies. Grizz is getting adopted by our foster. We are so happy for them.

Dolly is the tan one and Cheyenne is Black and Tan.

All these puppies will come with all the following.
* Have been seen by our vet
* Have been tested for Brucellois that was negitive
* Have been tested for Parvo that was negitive.
* 3 Booster vaccines by STARS
* Kennel Cough when of age by STARS
* Rabie Vaccine when of age by STARS Vet
* 3 deworming by STARS
* Come with a GPS Tracking device
* Will recieve Nexgard treatment by STARS
* Will be fixed when of age by STARS Vet
* Will be Microchipped when of age by STARS
* Will recieve a Puppy care packed.
Includes- Food, treats, toys, blanket, training tips and information packet, a calender for next year, and a teddy bear.

We do require the following to adopt a of our rescues:
✔️ An Application to fill out.
✔️ A Vet Reference
✔️ Your landlords information if you rent.
✔️ A home check 🏡

PLEASE Remember puppies are a 10 plus years commitment. They are considered a family member not a toy. 🐶

🐶 STARS No Kill Rescue is having an Adopt Event 🐶
Saturday October 17th
From 10am to 2pm
Location: 2120 W Main Street Suite #2.

All these beautiful puppies are ready for their new chapter in life. They are 8 weeks old, except Onyx, he is not from this litter but is on the flyer.

The 8 week old puppies are all types of mixes. Mom was a boxer mix. Daddy's were Shepard, Heeler, at least.

Onyx is a Border Collie and Terrier Mix we are guessing. He is about 9 weeks old.

All these puppies were rescued off the rez.
They have been seen by our vet and were tested for Brucellois All were neglected. Onyx was tested today for parvo and was negative, and the other litter was tested for parvo when rescued and was Negitive. They have recieved there first vaccine and have been dewormed. The litter of 6 were tested Friday for Brucellois and was negative too.

Most of these puppies are liter box trained. We do not use p*e p*e pads because they are very dangerous if the puppies eat them. They swell up inside there stomach and it cost $1,400 surgery to remove it.

All these puppies will come with all the following.

👏 I would like to give my cousin Braxton a huge thank you for all his help the last couple weeks. You do not know how much he means to me. He is family and it is great to have him here from New Jersey.

Braxton is only 21 years old. He has helped me in so many ways at the rescue that I thank god everyday he is here, and have cried thinking about when he leaves. My Aunt Bev is also with him and I am so blessed to have her with me too.

Braxton has helped rescue dogs, puppies and kittens with me on the rez. He has been feeding, cleaning, picking up p**p and scrubbing pools and water buckets, and moving dogs around and putting straw inside the dogs houses. He helps everyday with all the puppies we have that will will post once they been tested and examed by our vet.

Braxton has help me make several new improvements at the rescue. He has been doing yardwork, taking down old fencing and helping decludder and organize things. He also have been spending time with each and every rescue animal. He treats them all as if they were his own.

When you run a rescue our of your home with 30 cats, 20 rabbits, 9 puppies, 27 dogs and 1 kitteb by your self most of the time, having help everyday is a blessing that is not taking for granted at all. I am blessed to have my friend Kayla and her son's sometimes be able to help me too, then Deb comes once a month to help do deep cleaning.

Braxton, you are an amazing young man.I am truly blessed to have you as a friend and family member. I admire how smart you are and how well you have patience with life. I will cry the day you and Aunt Bev leave to go back to NJ. But I will be looking foward to seeing you guys again in Spring.

👻 🎃 🐈‍⬛️ Please be safe with your cats durning Halloween. I know some of you may not believe in bad things happening durning Halloween to animals and thats great. But I have had experience and saw first hand what mean and evil people can do the night before and on Halloween to Black Cats.

2 years ago here in the Black Hills, I was asked to bury a back cat that was stolen 2 days before Halloween and was killed by mean people and found the day after Halloween. This family was horrified when they found their cat. They contacted us and wanted us to find the person or people that did what they did to their cat. But because they had no clue who it could have been, we could not help. I was able to bury their cat at our cemetery for them.

Then there was a person in Hermosa killing Black cats and placing them on mailboxes many years ago. So please understand we do it for the safety of the cats, not because we dont want to loss adoption. We have a hard time all year round finding great homes for Black cats. Plus some people want a Black Cat just to have around for Halloween then let them go outside after. We had 3 Black cats that were microchipped and the owners told us, they no longer needed them. This was shortly after Halloween. 🐈‍⬛️ 🎃

Everyone that has a rescue or shelter can run it the best way they think is right. But, here at STARS NO KILL RESCUE all agree to do this every year.

Black cats are the best cats to adopt. They live longer then other cats because they are black, they are great hunters because they are black, they do not get as many diseases as a regular house cat. Plus in many countries they are considered to be good luck.

Please make sure your cat is microchipped just in case it may get out. Keep your cats safe durning the trick a treaters, several kids like to chase animals and some like to feed them candy and chocolate 🍫.

We are having an adoption event and Microchip clinic this Saturday at our Store Front from 10am to 2pm at 2120 W Main St Suite #2 Rapid City, SD.
