🐾 These two girls are pretty special to me. ❤️

Meet Sable & Zoey. I’ve been walking these two for about a year now, and earning their trust has probably been one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Before I met them, I was warned that they had been severely abused in their past and were extremely scared of new people. So in the beginning, we took things VERY slowly.

Lots of patience. Soft voices. Slow movements. Sometimes just waiting until they felt comfortable enough to let me get close and put their leashes on. And once we were out walking, there was plenty of talking to them and probably way more singing than they ever asked for. 😂

Little by little, they learned that I was safe and that they could trust me.

Now, almost a year later, these two have a huge place in my heart. ❤️ Their owner and I have even had the conversation that if anything were ever to happen to them, my family and I would take Sable & Zoey in without hesitation.

Which made me realize something…

I’m pretty sure I’m currently in two or three people’s wills/plans to get their dogs if something happens to them. 😂

I really need to stop doing this or eventually I’m going to have to buy a farm just to support everybody. 🤦‍♀️🐕🐕🐕🐕

But seriously, there’s something incredibly special about earning the trust of dogs who have every reason to be afraid of people. Watching Sable & Zoey go from being scared of me to knowing that they’re safe with me is something I’ll never take for granted.

These two girls will always be extra special to me. ❤️🐾

💙 Poor little Stitch just can’t catch a break. 😭

At barely 4 weeks old, this tiny baby has already been through so much. Stitch was brought to the shelter with his 4 siblings, but sadly, they had no mom. 💔 He has been bottle-fed and lovingly cared for by his amazing foster ever since.

Despite her absolute best efforts, multiple vet appointments, medications, and round-the-clock care, Stitch is still battling a stubborn infection. 😭

He’s currently on 3 oral medications and 2 topical treatments while we work to get this infection under control. He had a skin scrape done, and a culture was sent today to help determine exactly what we’re dealing with and the best way to get this sweet baby feeling better.

The culture alone is $400. 😭

Stitch is doing his best — but his medical care is adding up quickly. 💔

I know I’ve been a little MIA on the Nose2Tail page lately. Between some health issues and a loss in my family, I needed to take a little time to focus on myself and my family. ❤️

But I’m still here, still loving on your pets, and I’m excited to introduce two new members of the Nose2Tail crew!

🐾 Meet Molly & Penny! 🐾

These two sweet girls joined me for some outdoor time today, and they already have completely different little personalities. 😂 One was perfectly content lounging in the grass soaking up the sunshine, while the other was all smiles and ready for her walk.

I’m so thankful for everyone who continues to trust me with their pets and has been patient with me lately. It feels good to start sharing all of these cute faces again. 🐶❤️

🐾✨ A Little Thursday Wisdom ✨🐾

They say you often fail before you succeed—and I’ve lived that truth. When I moved across the country, I had to start over from scratch. I didn’t know if Nose2Tail would work, and there were plenty of bumps (and doubts) along the way.
But every setback taught me something that made me stronger, braver, and better prepared to succeed. 💛
So if you’re chasing a dream and stumble a few times, don’t give up. Sometimes failure is just part of the path that leads you right where you’re meant to be. 🌟

When I moved across the country, away from everything and everyone I knew, I never imagined I’d end up running my own pet care business. Nose2Tail started as a dream I wasn’t sure I could chase — but taking that leap has been one of the best decisions of my life. 💛

It’s a reminder that even when the unknown feels scary, chasing your dreams can lead you exactly where you’re meant to be. 🌟
