Opening weekend rifle deer are starting to come in. Congratulations to all these successful hunters, we hope to see many more of you. This is just one evening of take ins.
What this means- return times for finished work will start to get a little longer as work load increases. We will spend more time in the shop and less time sleeping. Working as fast as the bugs and skulls allow us. If we put 10 heads in the bugs at the same time, it does not mean all 10 heads will be clean at the same time. We’re at the mercy of the beetles….and since they can’t read the tag numbers very well, they clean at random. Someone with a higher number tag could end up being cleaned before a lower number. We can’t tell the beetles an order to clean heads in unfortunately. We do the best we can to keep all numbers pretty darn close so we hope you understand. Hopefully you’re able to get out this extended weekend and bag a trophy!
