Every rescue journey starts somewhere. 🐾🚌

Take a look back at how our rescue partners began their journey, touring the original Rescue Express fleet and seeing firsthand how we help transport animals toward a second chance at life.

While our mission hasn’t changed, our fleet has evolved! Today, we use school buses, which are more manageable, practical, and efficient for the rescue organizations we support.

Different buses. Same mission. Saving lives, one mile at a time.

Rescue Express is dedicated to saving shelter animals by providing ...

A forever home is the destination. Keeping animals comfortable along the way matters, too. 🚌🐾

We’re moving the air conditioning toward the middle of the Rescue Express bus to help cool the space where animals ride. It’s one more way we’re caring for them through every mile in between.

For shelter animals, the miles between where they are and where they can be safe can change everything.

More rescue partners mean more buses on the road, more miles covered and more shelter animals given a chance at a new life.

We’re moving the A/C unit to the center of our new Rescue Express transport bus to help create more even airflow and a more comfortable ride for the animals onboard.

It may seem like a small change, but when you’re transporting rescue animals for hours at a time, temperature and comfort matter.

Every detail of this bus is being designed with our passengers in mind. 🚌🐶🐱

Follow along as we continue building the next Rescue Express transport bus and get it ready to save lives.

Our newest Rescue Express bus is in production! 🚌🐾

We’re installing an environmentally friendly heating system to keep shelter animals safe and comfortable during the colder months ahead. This bus will help transport animals to fosters and rescue partners—and one step closer to their forever homes.

Right now, it looks like steel, sparks and a bus.

Soon, it will have heating, air conditioning and secure shelving—giving an established rescue organization the capacity to safely move more dogs and cats farther toward safety.

Rescue partners can make the bus their own or put it into service as a red Rescue Express bus. Either way, its purpose is the same: create more room to save lives.

Follow the transformation.
