They lost everything they knew 😭 They spent their entire lives together until their family moved and surrendered them to a high-kill shelter.

They were separated into different kennels, and both ended up on the euthanasia list. We were able to save them both, but unfortunately they are currently in separate foster homes.

Jackson is doing really well but Kota needs her brother

They are both REALLY well behaved, mellow, gentle, sweet hearted chunky pups!
We would LOVE to find an adopter willing to bring Jackson and Kota back together.

They are both around 7 years old and honestly such easy, wonderful dogs.

They're:
• Potty trained
• Great with other dogs
• Great with kids
• Super sweet and affectionate
• Pretty low-maintenance besides of course husky fur
• Mellow, loving companions

They've already lost the only family and life they knew. It would mean everything to us if the next chapter of their lives could be spent together again.

If you've ever thought about adopting two dogs, these two would be such a special pair to open your home to.

Honestly, two siblings adjusting in your home is often easier than just one!

This sweet boy needs a mom or dad!

Gus almost lost his life at the shelter and we quickly found out that he was meant to be a family dog!

He is incredibly sweet, smart, affectionate, and loves being close to his people.

He has been fostered with a baby and a young child and was incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with them. They quickly became best friends!

Gus needs someone who is willing to give him time to settle in -he's still young so he's continuing to learn about the world around him.
He's eager to learn and has so much potential.

He would make an amazing companion for so many different homes, but if you're looking for a dog who can grow up alongside your children and truly become part of the family, Gus is something special.

2-3 years old neutered
Up to date on vaccinations
Microchipped
Good with other dogs
LOVES kids

Ranger was adopted! ❤️

And it was definitely meant to be.

Ranger can be nervous meeting new people and isn’t always comfortable around new dogs right away. When he first came to his fosters, he was growly with strangers, nervous, and unsure. He needed time to build confidence and learn that the world wasn’t such a scary place.

But when he met his new parents, everything was different.

He immediately liked them. He immediately loved their dogs. There was no hesitation. He even has a new brother who looks just like him!

Seeing Ranger so quickly adapt to their home it felt like he knew this was it.

Ranger's family accepted Ranger for who he is before they met him. They knew his flaws and didn't mind because they have a house full of rescues. Which was so refreshing! But he didn't end up showing his flaws 🤯

A huge thank you to his amazing fosters, who loved him every step of the way and continue to keep in touch with his adopters. And thank you to his adopters for taking a chance on him and providing such a loving happy home for him. Ranger has so many people who love him!

The rescue world is really scary right now with constant stories of boarding facilities, trainers, "sanctuaries" harming rescue's dogs. Our circle of trust when we need an emergency placement when no foster homes are available is extremely small. We've always only used two trainers we use to board dogs with so we need to be able to take in dogs ourselves.

So we're asking Santa Barbara people! We are looking for a small home on a property towards the end of summer who would allow us to continue our life saving efforts and know that they are helping in the biggest way by allowing us to bring in dogs for decompression, training & fostering!

If anyone knows any animal lovers willing to allow this please let us know!

He is doing great. He's good with other dogs and small children 🤗 He doesn't pull on the leash. We're so glad we took a chance on him. He's going to make his future mom/dad so happy!

He's so deserving and the shelter thankfully was wrong about him being bad with other dogs 😅
