It took me almost a month to post this on my public social media. I think is fair to honor him on my business platform especially since he was part of my journey as a vet. It has been painful to even watch this video. I cry everytime I watch it. I Wanted to let clients know who asked me about my dear koa, that he is no longer with me. A month ago I said goodbye to my best friend. The soul who carried me through my days of happiness and my days of sorrow. Koa, you were the best dog I have ever had. I will not wish away the years we had simply to avoid today’s grief. Every gray hair, every slow walk, every sleepless night, and even this goodbye were part of loving you. My heart is broken because it was full. I carry you with gratitude, not because this is easy, but because loving you was one of the greatest gifts of my life. Amor fati. 2014-2026

This girl has improved tremendously from the day I first saw her. She was obese and couldn’t use her back legs. She has severe hip dysplasia. We changed her diet and she lost a significant amount of weight. She has been getting testosterone injections monthly and we managed to preserve her muscle mass and strengthen her ability to walk. Look at that squatting when p**ping! So strong. Never thought I would get excited to see a dog p**p. 😂. Even though she has severe hip dysplasia, she is now lean, her muscles are strong to support her and her hips and her quality of life has improved significantly ❤️
