Snektember fast approaches.

Thus year, we are planning to post lots of pictures. More than enough snek in this house to fill the month.

We hope you enjoy!

And now they are all snug in individual compartments. Waiting on a shed and a few meals before heading to new homes.

It has been six -- what?? -- years since I've touched this page. That's what happens when you back off of breedubg for a while.

We're back at it now. though!

We've hatched out our first cluch of ball pythons this year!

Our cornsnake clutches were nothing but bad luck, sadly.

But tonight, we're proud to announce our second clutch of Kenyan sand boas!

So it's definitely time to get this going again. :)

We had an amazing time at the Sacramento show. So many people came and met the snakes and several babies found new homes. It was a long weekend, but a lot of fun. Looking forward to doing it again!

If you're attending the Sacramento Reptile Show this weekend, make sure to stop by and say hello! We're in booth #105, near the venomous reptile display. Good times!

You might have a snake problem when...

The highlight of your day is getting stubborn snakes to eat. XD Finally got the sand boas to start eating again after, no joke, seven months. Yay!

Jasper (our bumblebee BP) at his second meal after his six month hunger strike too! Maybe baby BPs this year. :)

More clutches so more babies coming. There are a few slugs here, but the larger clutch is from a first time dad, so I'm still pretty impressed. 13 good eggs from Salome who is likely to double clutch.

And then 8 eggs from my new girl, Phoebe. This is a second clutch for her this season, and the babies hatching out of her first are amaaaazing. Only 6 of the 8 are good, probably, but we'll see.

We got a late start to the breeding season this year, but we have at least one successful clutch, so far.

This is a pairing between Lilith and Samael, a repeat from last year. They will produce miamis het motley %66 ph amel and amel miamis (or Candy Canes) het motley.

12 healthy eggs on Day 14.

Had a great weekend at the Reptile Breeders Show in Lodi this past weekend. Didn't sell a lot, but talked to lots of great people and kids, and had the chance to introduce several people to their first cornsnake!

I think we will try Sacramento this year, if all goes well. Fingers crossed!

And, just to prove that we aren't only cornsnake enthusiasts, here's Muad'dib, our '12 anery sand boa. Next year, perhap...

And, just to prove that we aren't only cornsnake enthusiasts, here's Muad'dib, our '12 anery sand boa. Next year, perhaps, there will be sand boa babies. Possible.
