Ok so we have had many visitors over the years... seeking warmth during the winter in our nice warm log cabin... the dreaded mice and stink bugs, the not so bad lady bugs... luckily no snakes or rats... we have cat warming boxes on the back porch that help , kitties and opossum... this is our first year however, to have little green and brown lizards... yep we have several that keep appearing in different rooms... they are moving slow so probably cold... my question is how are they surviving in here??

Wow we have been incredibly lax about our farm updates!! We have put most of our show season updates on our personal feeds but now show season has come to it's winter break and it's time to catch up on everything we have left on the back burner!! It's FALL!! The best time to get outside and prep for the holidays and winter!! We will have a very empty barn compared to housing and feeding 2 small show strings (Shylee &Anna's)most of the season!! We have sold a few, took the Coltrane stock back to the dairy and just have Vienna ,( Violet's fall heifer) Crash our lone Appaloosa, Honeybun of course (due to calf in December) and our usual poultry, canine and feline crew left. We have had a truly wonderful year!! So many people helped make it happen and we are blessed and grateful!

Home days on the farm are the best!! Not sure but I think the chickens were trying to steal the cow fans an poor Crash is still waiting his turn for attention!

We have been terribly lacks about our posts lately! It's already May 1st (happy May day by the way) but it's been month since we've posted the years of flying by and leaving us in the dust... Or should I say mud it's definitely been a wet spring. We have had a couple cow shows, lots of animal time, and are already looking forward to summer activities!
