Helping Hand For Animals

Wracking my brain all morning to come up with a different angle to get more people interested in adopting, fostering, donating to our motley crew, but I'm out of gas, so here it is.
It's $5 Friday
If you got it, thank you.
If you don't or can't spare it, we completely understand because we've "been there and unable to do that" too.
Please share.
Please consider fostering.
If you're thinking of adding to your Forever Family please consider one of our Sweet Souls that have been waiting too long.
If you've been blessed this year as a business owner or work for a company that is into community, we would love to connect regarding monthly or quarterly sponsorships.
We would love to connect for an on site meet and greet!
$5+ will immediately help animals in boarding, food, medications and basic vet care.
Thank you in advance! -Rc

💔😔

Rebecca Schmidt, 77, founder of the Northern Illinois Cat Clinic in Libertyville, Ill., reportedly killed by her son, Bryan Schmidt, 51, as well as two other family members, her husband James Schmidt, 80, grandson Maclaine Schmidt (Bryan's son), 22, of Lake Bluff, and Bryan's longtime partner Nicole Heiser, 37, of Antioch; in a horrific quadruple fatal shooting at a home in the 200 block of Wellington Avenue in suburban Mundelein Sunday, October 18.

Rebecca Schmidt, a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, founded the Cat Clinic, formerly at 295 Peterson Road, as Lake County's first and foremost veterinary clinic dedicated to cats in 1982, and operated it with her husband, also a veterinarian. Bryan ran the clinic for years until it was reportedly closed down two years ago, having essentially been working at the practice "since birth". An entire family gone in an instant and nothing left behind but answers about what could have possibly gone wrong? It's truly heartbreaking and coming not long after another similar "family annihilation" incident in Erie. Lord, keep us safe from such evil. Prayers up for all affected by this horrible tragedy 🙏.
