Patrice Goldston - Dog Trainer
Patrice has always had a love for dogs ever since she got her first dog at nine years old not even realizing her training was shaping behavior in her pets, it was her way of connecting with her pets. She graduated from Peace College in Raleigh with Biology major and a minor in Animal Science. Through her years in college she always knew that she had a special connec
tion with animals. In her honors Anthropology class she was able to have close encounters with lemars and other primates at the Duke primate center where she ended up volunteering there with her professor in her spare time. After graduating and in the work force she started pet-sitting and training on the side for several business owners in the area and realized that she could take her passion, talent and make a career to help families and dogs all over. Patrice started her love for dogs when she was nine and got her first pet a white Maltese that she taught obedience training, tricks and even better to be a true companion to the family. Since then every pet that she had she took the time and the dedication to make sure that they had the proper obedience and love which she didnβt find out till becoming a certified dog trainer later in life that helps for a great foundation to a well balanced pet. Even in her travels across seas to England and Nicaragua she always managed to come across a stray dog that would follow her and she would set time aside to spend time and form a bond with the lost dog, by the end of her trips she would insist that the locals would find a good home for them. With all the signs pointing to go forward with her true passion she has made it her life goal to help dogs and pet owners with truly understanding what their dogs are telling us and how we can communicate with them through love and training to make a much happier home for everyone.
