Gabe and Kylo
Took the boys to the lake a few weeks ago for a pack walk with a friend, and she grabbed these photos of them looking handsome ❤️ I can't believe they're already two. So happy with how they've both matured.
Now that Kylo has finished (pending AKC) his Grand, we'll be stepping away from the show ring with him. He gets easily bored by the repetitive nature of conformation, and entries are expensive, so we're going to focus on his sports career. His first AKC agility trial - just jumpers - is at the end of the month, and we've started a bit of rally foundations. Now that I'm not worried about getting head-turned-heeling behavior in the show ring, we can do more of that. He may still jump in the ring occasionally, but we're not chasing the bronze and will really only do the occasional show for fun.
Gabe is off on a trial placement this week, and while it's weird without him here and we miss the happy little dude, he seems to be having a great time and settling in well. As much as we love him, he'll do much better where he doesn't have to deal with girls in season all the time. He deserves the world and if this works? He'll certainly have that there.
