Quail Corners Animal Hospital is hosting a Spay/Neuter-it-Forward Day on Sunday June 7th. This is in partnership with Operation Catnip and their TNVR (Trap/Neuter/Vaccinate/Return) program.

We have 15 open spaces for your free-roaming community kitty (ies) and will begin at 8am, with plans for you to pick up between 1-3pm. You must purchase a voucher ahead of time and should bring it along with you to. And note, each kitty MUST be in its own humane trap (not carrier), so one cat per trap.

Each voucher covers surgery (to include pregnant females and cryptorchid males), ear crop (3/8" of their left ear cut straight across), vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP), and initial pain meds, to identify them as sterilized and vaccinated community cats.
Please call us at 919-876-0739 to reserve a space and please purchase the voucher via [email protected] which take 24-48 hours to be issued.

Meet Miss Alma and her emotional support octopus! Alma is an 8 week old Airedale Terrier, who we had the pleasure of meeting for her first wellness visit. Alma joins a wonderful family and big brother Declan, who's training his little sis well, as he never goes anywhere without his emotional support hedgehog.

Airedale Terriers are a great additions as they love family, are intelligent and versatile. They served in the military, were among first police dogs, starred in 101 Dalmatians and even gave John Wayne his nickname, Duke, named after one of his own Airedale Terriers! Just a few fun facts!

As flowers bloom, so do risks for our pets, with plenty of opportunity for them to breathe in particles, scratch an eye, poke a paw, or even get snagged by a branch or thorn, all of which could potentially lead to infections.

Infections can be sneaky subtle—If your pet is not acting right and you are not sure what it is, get them checked! Like with most conditions, the sooner we treat an infection, the better your pet will feel.
