“They said sleep when the baby sleeps.” 😅

But my baby sleeps for 17 minutes…
and I spend 10 of those minutes just staring at him,
watching his tiny chest rise and fall to make sure he’s still breathing.

The other 7 minutes?
I’m debating whether to sleep, eat, bathe, or just sit in silence.

No one talks about this part, the constant checking, the quiet anxiety, the overwhelming love wrapped in exhaustion.

Motherhood is beautiful.

Motherhood is emotional.

Motherhood is strength you didn’t know you had.

Why use a red light opposed to white for babies sleep? Red is the least disruptive color to their sleep cycles. Red light doesn’t inhibit the production of melatonin.
White noise helps to drown out outside noise, it mimics the sounds of the womb and triggers a soothing, calming reflex. White noise can signal to the baby it’s time for sleep.
