Meet Tommy — the beloved African Spurred Tortoise (also known as a Sulcata Tortoise) and proud owner of our very own Travis Richmond from Five Points Pet Resort Maintenance! 😄

About 10 years ago, Travis and his wife Monica were on a trip to Florida when Tommy “adopted” them… and the rest is history! ❤️

Tommy enjoys spending his days munching on his favorite snacks like grass, romaine lettuce, bananas, apples, and just about any veggie you can think of! 🥬🍌🍎

✨ Fun Facts About Tommy & Sulcata Tortoises ✨

🐢 Sulcata tortoises are the 3rd largest tortoise species in the world
🐢 They can live 70+ years with proper care
🐢 Sulcatas are known for their BIG personalities and love digging burrows
🐢 Tommy may look slow, but he’s always ready when snacks are involved!
🐢 These gentle giants are native to the Sahara Desert region of Africa
