Busy week for Dimmette Dressage with Back to back horse shows 💪. Dressage in the Park in Aiken last week and then March Magic in Raeford this weekend.

Reggae and Riley headed to Aiken last week. Ashley Powell’s Riley made his 2nd level debut with a 65% each day! Super proud of his progress. He is such a sweet guy! Gerry Orlando’s Reggae and I rode 4th level. After working out a few things day one, we improved our score for a 65% at 4th 1 on day two. We were also reserve champion fourth level for the weekend! Big thanks to Carty for doing such a great job grooming!!

March Magic this past weekend was a huge success! Ellen Easter and Hershey had solid rides at training level. Hershey was much more relaxed and they earned their highest score ever today with a 67%!! Ellen has put in the hard work and it is paying off. Very proud of them!!

Merlot made her show debut competing in the Materiale classes. We earned a 76% and a 77% winning both classes! The weather was absolutely wild this weekend and she was super well behaved under saddle after some shenanigans on the lunge line. Big thanks to Becca Desper Swann for the hand holding and support haha.

Thanks to Sporting Services for a well run show! Fun as always hanging out with the Swann CT, LLC crew all weekend!

Merlot and Shinetta headed to Pinehurst today!! Tim and Shinetta made their basic western dressage debut and did fantastic! Merlot took quite awhile to settle so we just schooled. But once she relaxed she was so good! This was her third outing and first show. We’ll make it down centerline next time! Thanks Patti and Cassidy for a fun day!

Larry and I here to remind you that show season is coming! The mobile unit will be at the Carolina International next month with tons of closeout specials.
To prepare, we are closing for shipping Feb 28 - March 9. Orders can be placed, but there will be no packing and shipping during show prep time.

🌕 I’ve volunteered to go on the next moon expedition to help colonize it!!!

Not really 💁‍♀️ But now that I have your attention!
I am moving. Again. It was very unexpected to do so again this soon, however I am excited to be able to return to Europe to continue the adventures in learning new cultures, making connections, and hopefully finding that same peaceful feeling like I had while living in the Netherlands.
Since Vanessa has officially let the cat out of the bag, I’ll also announce that the mobile unit will not be operating after the move. She is expecting a baby boy this summer. The mobile unit is very time consuming, and I will not put the burden on my friend of doing that work when she should be having time with her family.
So what does this mean for Royal Equine? Most of the products will be phased out 🥲 It has been so difficult with tariffs and the exchange rate that I’m no longer willing to fight that battle.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS!! I will be focused on moving forward with the Royal Equine brand and keeping it online. More sun shirts. More show jackets. I’m even working on some things for men. Though really, designing a unique but not sparkly men’s shirt is tough 🤪
I’ll also continue to host several brands on the website that ship from US warehouses. At the moment you can order Deinhardt Designs, Canter Culture, Equiderma, Majyk Equipe, and Redingote directly from Royal Equine.
While I’m going to sincerely miss horse shows, I’m really looking forward to doing more with Royal Equine the brand! I will be heading out late summer/early fall.
I love you guys, and I’m hoping to see lots of you at the CCI!

Happy Birthday Merlot! This sweet girl turns 4 today! She is honestly one of the most fun, willing young horses I’ve ever sat on. Can’t wait to get her out and about this year! 💕
