In this industry “wins” look a little different. It’s not always FB posts that trend or certificates on a wall or ribbons at competition. Some days it’s the little things that make you heart smile.

Today was one of those days. This little old man has had a long life of negative grooming experiences. When he came to me 5 months ago I wasn’t sure I could do much with him. His attitude plus age made him a tough case. I told his owner I’ll do the best I can to make him comfortable. The first visit I was lucky to get clippers near him. I managed to get his eyebrows trimmed but they were a little wonky.

But today, after months of trust building he LET ME GROOM HIS FACE. Not that I managed to get it done. He was calm and patient and he TRUSTED ME. Thats one of the best feelings in the world. Look at this adorable old man face. He is just the sweetest.

Notice:

We have been getting a lot of questions so I decided to make a post:

We LOVE doing photos. However we are soooo busy with appointments that we have not had time to work on photos. Photos we have done we have not had time to watermark and post and we haven’t had time to even take new photos. We will try to get those posted as soon as possible.

So for now photo booth photos are suspended. We hope to have the Photo Booth ready for September (using the theme we had planned for August.)

Also, some changes this year. We will start our fall theme in October and go 6 weeks and then do 6 weeks of Christmas photos instead of the 4 week rotations we usually do. This will make it easier for those who want photos for each theme. So the schedule will be as follows.

September 1-26
