It’s been a busy week for happily-ever-afters! 🐾

Bronson, Pumpernickel, Seamus, Shamrock, and Emerald have all packed their tiny bags (and probably a few favorite toys) and headed off to their forever homes. From zoomies and mischief to purrs and snuggles, these sweet cats and kittens kept us entertained — and now they’re ready to charm their new families just the same.

We’re so excited for Bronson, Pumpernickel, Seamus, Shamrock, and Emerald as they settle into lives full of sunny windows, comfy beds, and plenty of treats they’ll pretend they didn’t just beg for. Congratulations to these lucky adopters and their new furry family members! 💚

Fluffernutter is a delightful 2-year-old cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Playful, goofy, and full of charm, she loves being part of whatever is happening and makes sure you know she’s there the moment you walk through the door. She’ll be right at your feet to greet you, ready for attention and happy to soak up all the love you’re willing to give.

This curious girl is always finding ways to entertain herself — whether that means batting little objects around the room, exploring every corner of the house, or simply turning everyday moments into her own playful adventure. Her fun-loving spirit makes her a joy to have around.

Fluffernutter has been living in a foster home with a dog and has remained completely unbothered by his presence. She has even spent time nearby without any reaction, showing that she may do well in a home with a calm canine companion.

After recently raising a litter of kittens and seeing them grow old enough to begin finding homes of their own, it’s finally Fluffernutter’s turn to be the one cared for and cherished. She has been a wonderful mama, and now she’s ready to leave motherhood behind and enjoy the happy, carefree life she deserves in a forever home.

Adopters must live within 75 miles of Racine, WI. Adoption fee for one cat is $100.00, two for $150.00. This radius is in place due to ongoing medical care we provide post-adoption.

Most of our cats are in our office and you can come meet them. Please call or email to schedule an appointment 262-634-4571 [email protected]

Occasionally, cats are placed in private foster homes. For those, we look to have an approved application prior to sending someone to a private residence. If you are interested in adoption, please complete an application. Online applications are located on our website: www.hopesafehouse.org.

Upon approval of your application, we will contact you with the foster home phone number to arrange a meet and greet. There is no cost or obligation to apply.

All cats will be up to date on vaccines, spay/neutered*, microchipped and a 30-day health certificate. *If they are too young to be altered, the fee includes spay/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. All pets have a lifetime return policy.

Ruthie is a lovely 5-year-old girl who is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find the person she’s been waiting for. She has a playful streak and enjoys a good toy or a little fun around the house, but what she loves most is simply being close to her favorite human.

At first, Ruthie can be a bit shy with new people and may need a little time to feel comfortable. Once she knows she’s safe, though, her sweet personality shines. She quickly becomes a devoted companion, happily following her person from room to room like a tiny shadow. She adores being held, curling up in a warm lap, and stretching out across your chest for cozy snuggles.

Ruthie prefers not to share her home with other cats and would be happiest as the only feline in the household. She has more than enough love, personality, and companionship to fill a home all by herself.

For someone willing to give her a little patience at the start, Ruthie will reward you with endless affection, playful moments, and the kind of bond that makes a cat feel like your very best friend.

Texan and Gryffon are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. These distinguished gentlemen originally came to HOPE Safehouse 11 years ago as babies and were adopted out together. Unfortunately, their people passed away, and they've made their way back to H.O.P.E.

Both are very sweet, laid back and best described as pretty chill! They really just need a comfy chair, an occasional sunny spot to soak up some rays and of course, EACH OTHER!
