Minimally processed” is everywhere in pet food marketing these days, but what does it actually mean for what goes into your pet's bowl? 🥣🐾

Minimally processed foods are prepared using gentle methods like freeze-drying, light cooking, or air-drying instead of high-heat industrial extrusion.

Less processing in the bag means easier digestion, higher nutrient absorption, and cleaner energy in your pet's daily life. ✨

What does minimally processed mean to you when checking a label? Tell us in the comments below. 👇

Over 70% of your pet's immune system lives right in their digestive tract, meaning gut health influences everything from digestion to coat shine and daily energy 🥣🐾

When the gut microbiome falls out of balance, subtle warning signs start popping up before major issues arise. Adding probiotic-rich functional hydrators, digestive enzymes, and moisture-dense fresh raw nutrition helps repopulate good bacteria and soothe the gut lining naturally.

Most cats simply aren't wired to stand at a water bowl and lap up what they need. 🙀💦

In the wild, cats absorb nearly all their hydration directly from moisture-rich fresh prey. When fed 100% dry kibble containing very low moisture, they may be living in a state of chronic, low-grade dehydration. Ensuring your cat is drinking enough water or adding more moisture to their dry diet with bone broth, fresh foods, or raw toppers is the best way to flush the urinary tract and protect kidney function with every meal.

Did you know puppies can grow up to 200 times their birth weight in their first two years? That level of rapid growth requires nutrient-dense building materials to create a resilient body. 🐶✨

Feeding fresh, raw food builds a strong foundation right from the beginning:
Superior absorption: High digestibility means growing puppies actually absorb vital amino acids and minerals instead of passing them as excess waste
Allergy prevention: University research shows puppies getting at least 20% fresh raw food have a significantly lower chance of developing allergies and skin issues as adults
Balanced development: Formulas crafted for All Life Stages (including the growth of large breed puppies) ensure the correct calcium-to-phosphorus ratio to keep bones and joints growing at a safe, steady pace

Are your houseplants safe for your feline friend? 🌿🐱

Many of us love filling our homes with greenery, but several everyday houseplants contain compounds that are toxic to cats. Ingestion can lead to severe oral irritation, excessive drooling, vomiting, lethargy, or worse.

Safer alternatives to love instead: Swap these out for cat-safe greenery like spider plants, Boston ferns, prayer plants, or fresh pots of cat grass.

Save this post for your next nursery run, and share it with a fellow cat parent! Did any of these surprise you? Let us know below.
