Dr. Rucinsky is the only board certified feline specialist on the eastern shore, and one of only 3 in Maryland, and none in Delaware. We do both wellness and advanced medical care, with advanced diagnostics, treatment, and surgery.

As National Vet Tech week is ending, we would like to give a shout out to our nursing staff ♥️🐾

Dawn is our licensed veterinary technician, the one that started it all. She has slowly transitioned away from being in appointments, but she is still the the heart of our clinic. We each have learned how to be nurses from her guidance over the years. Her dedication over the last 20+ years has set the standard that our next generation works to uphold.

Our assistants work hard to fill the big shoes Dawn has left during this transition period.

Mallory and Carly are both in school right now to get their official technician licensure. Sheyenne is in the process of applying to Vet schools. Cammie is approaching her second year at MACH and as our youngest staff member, we have had the joy of watching her blossom into a wonderful nurse. She splits her time as an assistant AND helping out at the front desk. She's a jack of all trades and a fantastic addition to our team.

Bruce would like remind all of you that he and Dr. R will be heading to the annual ABVP symposium tomorrow, where all the species specialists get together for advanced continuing education. We'll be closed Wednesday, April 8, starting at 1:00 pm, and will be back in action Monday, April 13 for our normal hours. See you soon!

Attention Centreville folks: Dr. R found a cat on 213 this morning on her way to work. The cat had been hit by a car, but is relatively ok. There is a microchip but it isn't registered. If your cat goes outside and hasn't come home, please call to identify.
