Happy Vet Tech Week to Liv, Melissa, and Viktoria! 🐾

We are so lucky to have these three as part of our team! They each bring so much knowledge, skill, and heart to what they do, and we truly appreciate everything they bring to Bay Road Animal Hospital. From taking care of our patients to supporting the team through the busiest days, they make such a difference in our hospital!

Veterinary medicine isn’t always easy, and so much of what they do goes on behind the scenes. We see the hard work, dedication, and love they put into their jobs every day, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have them on our team. 💚

Does My Pet Really Need a Dental? 🦷🐶🐱

Yes! Dental health is an important part of your pet’s overall health. Here are a few simple facts:

• Dental disease is very common in both dogs and cats.
• Plaque can build up and harden into tartar.
• Dental disease can cause painful, inflamed gums.
• Pets can hide signs of dental pain, so you may not notice a problem right away.
• Regular dental care helps protect your pet’s teeth, gums, and overall health.

A healthy mouth is an important part of a healthy pet! ❤️

These are just some of the many faces that made our first year so special. Thank you to every family who trusted us with the care of their beloved pets, supported our small business, and helped make Bay Road feel like home.

We are so grateful for this first year and SO excited for everything still to come. 🐶🐱🐾
