I’m sure many of our amazing clients have noticed a new face around the shop, so I’d like to take a moment to formally introduce Hailey!

Hailey has just completed grooming school where she studied under a master groomer/stylist. She has a natural gift for grooming that simply can’t be taught, and we’re working together to help fine tune her skills!

She is a dedicated worker, absolutely fantastic with the animals, and shows improvement with every single groom she completes. I am stoked to have her as part of the team, and I am wicked excited to see her growth as she continues down this career path! 🤗🐾

We are now offering grooming services to house elves and gremlins!

We solemnly swear not to give them any socks or feed them after midnight 🤞🏻

Pheobe, who bears a striking resemblance to Dobby when submerged, was less than impressed with her bath today 😆

Millie is in for her regular undercoat removal!

Do you have a pup with a double coat like Millie that sheds all over, keeping your vacuum and broom in daily rotation?

Keeping them on a 6-8 week grooming schedule leaves most of that shedding hair in my tub and not on YOUR floors!

Call/text 518-409-9682 to schedule an appointment for your shedding pup today ☺️🐾

*disclaimer*
Deshedding treatments do not remove all of the shedding undercoat, as all double coated dogs naturally shed regardless of grooming. Regular grooming does, however, greatly reduce the amount of shedding hair and helps regulate their natural shedding cycle- reducing compaction, and the “clumps” of shedding hair that get trapped in the coat. Brushing in between grooming appointments will also help extend the longevity of deshedding treatments.

Loki is appropriately named and oh so loved here! He’s my little mischief-maker who, when he holds still long enough for me to get a nice scissor finish on his face, looks absolutely DAPPER 😍

Ever since losing my little old lady, I’ve developed a soft spot for golden girls here at the shop.

I started grooming Miss Bella in the final season of her life, and I’m so blessed she and her dad chose me for her grooming needs. Malamutes tend to have a sassier attitude sometimes, but not Bella. She is sweet as pie. She can’t stand all that well, not in her back end at least. So we take it slow, use various supports with towels for extra cushion to make it comfortable for her. Take lots of breaks to rest her old bones. I talk to her, and reassure her when she seems nervous. Apologize when I irritate the arthritis in her joints while doing her nails.

I genuinely look forward to her name in my book every time.

Do you have an old pup that’s been through every season of life with you? Post a picture of them, tell me the silly nickname you call them. Give them a hug and please know just how lucky you are to have them by your side ☺️🥰
