Summer is here and keeping these show lambs comfortable and healthy is a top priority ☀️🐑

Shade, airflow, fresh cool water, and electrolytes can make all the difference during these hot summer months. One of our favorite electrolytes to keep on hand is Save A Calf Electrolytes — especially during extreme heat, hauling, or stressful days when lambs need that extra support. 💦

We typically mix 2 scoops (4 oz) per 5-gallon bucket to help keep lambs hydrated and feeling their best during these hotter days.

A few things we focus on daily:
• Plenty of clean shade
• Fresh cool water at all times
• Save A Calf electrolytes during hot days or stress
• Watching closely for dehydration or heat stress
• Keeping lambs eating and performing their best

Healthy lambs handle the heat better and stay on track all summer long. A little extra care goes a long way this time of year! 🌵🔥

There’s just something special about lambing season sunsets. 🌅🐑

Long days, little sleep, and plenty of chaos — but watching the sun go down over a pasture full of new babies makes it all worth it. These are the moments that remind us why we love this life so much.

The barn lights stay on late, the coffee stays hot, and the lambs keep coming. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. ❤️

It’s crazy to think… 15 years ago is when KJ Show Lambs first started.

What began as a small dream and a lot of hard work has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of today. Countless early mornings, late nights, lessons learned, and unforgettable memories along the way.

We wouldn’t be here without the amazing families, buyers, and supporters who have trusted and believed in our program over the years. You’ve all been a part of this journey.

Here’s to where it started—and everything still ahead. 🐑

Lambing season has officially started, and we’re excited to announce that our show lamb sales will now be hosted on Willoughby Livestock Sales!

This year we’re bringing you the best of both worlds:
🐑 Select lots will be available as Click-To-Claim
➡️ First person to claim the lot at the posted price wins — simple, fast, and no waiting!

🏇 Other lots will be sold using Racehorse-Style Bidding
➡️ This style uses an extended bidding timer. At a pre-determined closing time, the sale will only remain open if a bid is placed (on any lot).
➡️ Any bid will extend the clock on ALL auction items at set intervals (typically 5 minutes).
➡️ Bidding will continue until there is a full 5-minute period with no bids on any lot.
➡️ Once that happens, the sale officially closes and all bids are final.

Judges are posted for this years Maricopa County fair. This is major crunch time. We all know its been very hot outside but that doesnt mean we stop working with our animals. Keep working with your fair projects and keep them hydrated!
