One of the very first things I recommend to anyone thinking about buying a home is getting pre-approved, even if you're not sure you're ready yet.

And no, that doesn't mean you have to be ready to buy tomorrow โค๏ธ

A great lender can start by looking at your financial picture and may be able to begin with a soft credit inquiry. If you're ready to buy, great! Now you know what price range makes sense and can start shopping with confidence.

But what if you're not quite ready?

That's okay, too.

A good lender can help you understand why you're not ready and what steps you can take to get there. Maybe you need to pay down some debt, build your savings, improve your credit, or simply give yourself a little more time. Instead of guessing, you can have an actual plan.

The worst feeling is finding the house you absolutely LOVEโ€ฆ only to discover that you're not in a position to buy it ๐Ÿ˜ญ

So before you fall in love with the house, fall in love with the plan.

A few days ago, I had the pleasure of meeting an amazing new client who was referred to me by a friend. She and her husband currently live out of state and are here on vacation and we have made the absolute most of their time here!

Over the last few days, weโ€™ve toured 14+ homes across different areas of the Valley, helping them get a feel for different neighborhoods and figure out what will be the best fit for their family. And while the house hunting has been exciting, there have also been A LOT of moving pieces behind the scenes.

Weโ€™ve talked through selling their current home, financing and timing, connected with an amazing lender, researched school districts, looked at flights for inspections and the final walkthrough, connected them with contractors for potential updates, found options for getting grass installed for their dogs, and communicated with listing agents about what their sellers are looking for in an offer.

Iโ€™m so excited to say that Iโ€™ve helped three clients find their next homes! ๐ŸŽ‰

Two homes closed back-to-back in less than 24 hours, for two amazing families who trusted me to help guide them through such a huge life decision. And just when I thought I could catch my breath, we closed on a third property โ€” helping my client find the ideal rental home for them and their needs. ๐Ÿ
