🍂 Interest Check: Fall Equine-Assisted Learning Program! 🐴
I’m considering offering a Fall Equine-Assisted Learning Program this fall for both homeschool and non-homeschool students, and I’d love to see how much interest there is!
This program will be located in San Tan Valley (serving the greater Phoenix area) and is designed for children who want to learn about horses in a safe, structured, and educational environment.
This is NOT a riding school. The focus is on building knowledge, confidence, responsibility, leadership, and horsemanship through hands-on learning with horses.
📚 Program Details:
• Meets 2 days per week
• 2-hour sessions (4 hours per week total)
• Fall session
• Open to homeschool and non-homeschool students
• ESA funds accepted! I am an ESA-approved vendor, and additional payment options will also be available.
Age Groups:
🐴 Ages 5–10
🐴 Ages 12–16
Students will learn:
✨ Horse safety and handling
✨ Grooming and daily horse care
✨ Equine behavior and communication
✨ Horse anatomy, breeds, and disciplines
✨ Tack and equipment
✨ Stable management
✨ Groundwork and relationship building
✨ Responsibility, teamwork, and confidence
✨ And so much more!
This program will include an educational curriculum to help students build their horsemanship knowledge and demonstrate responsibility. As students progress and meet program expectations, they may have the opportunity to advance to mounted activities. Mounted work is earned through commitment, knowledge, and demonstrated readiness—it is not guaranteed and is not the primary focus of the program.
A little about me:
🐎 I hold multiple professional certifications and currently work as an equine therapist, bringing both clinical knowledge and practical experience to every lesson.
🐎 I have competed at the national level, giving me extensive experience in training, horsemanship, and working with horses across multiple disciplines.
🐎 My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can develop life skills while gaining a true understanding and appreciation of horses.
I’m currently gauging interest before finalizing dates and registration.
