Meet the Tropical Island Litter! With summer right around the corner we wanted to do a vacation litter … and who wouldn’t love tropical islands vacation right about now!?

🩵 Maui (blue collar)
🩷 Fiji (purple collar)
🩷 Bali (lavender collar)
🩷 Tahiti (pink collar)

We love this litter so much already. Eyes aren’t even open yet but they are beautiful!

Tilly is our proud mamma and Riggs is the dad! This paring is going to be so fun as we are working to produce an amazing temperament. A mix of the best of both worlds - The fun outgoing, people loving temperament from the Goldendoodle and the gentle, sweet, loving, loyal, personality of the cavapoo. The goal here is to achieve the playful and gentle cuddly natures that these two breeds have to offer!

These pups are pacing to be between 15-22 lbs as adults. They all have beautiful wavy red coats with some splashes of white.

They will go home at the end of June! DM for more information on these pretty babies.

DID YOU KNOW . . . ? (Read caption) ⬇️

You don’t have to comment or belittle doodles (or people that own them) just because you don’t like them. There are plenty of people who DO like them. But that what is so wonderful about life. We all have Choices, and we can choose what dog fits us best. This is why all dog breeds are wonderful.

Do you remember the beginning of the movie 101 Dalmatians where the dog matches the owner that was walking him/her? YES!! This is why all breeds are beautiful. Even “mutts”. Find a dog that speaks to your heart, fits in with your family and lifestyle and you can’t go wrong.

Doodles are versatile and this is actually why I think doodles became so popular. They are family friendly, smart/trainable, loving, loyal, minimal shedding dogs that adapt to just about any lifestyle and family. What’s not to love. We can all do a better job at loving one another even if someone else picks a dog breed you wouldn’t pick for yourself! We don’t all a to agree on everything… that is the beauty of life.

What do you love most about YOUR dog(s)?

Taking pics of puppies can be tricky! Read 👇🏼 for more tips!

Newborn puppies should not be separated from the mama for more than 5 minutes. But in order to get quality pictures you have to be ready!

Step 1: Feed the puppies, get them nice and full and sleepy!

Step 2: While they are eating get prepped for pictures. Try out a couple props and backgrounds… For me, less is more. You don’t want it to get to cluttered and distract from the cuteness of the puppy. *In this step it important to take pictures with your camera (I use my iphone) to test what it will look like through your camera lens. If using the iphone, I prefer the portrait setting at 1x zoom to blur the background. Now you are prepped and ready for puppies.

Step 3: Feed the mama so she is distracted and not stressed when you take the puppies. I actually feed my mom in a separate room or have her go out to the potty area so that she does not see me take the puppies. This prevents mom from getting stressed.

Step 4: Place puppies in their spot and start taking pics/video.

Two additional tips:
1- Keep the room you’re taking pictures in, warm. This helps them to be still because they are comfortable. If it is not warm enough in the room you can put a heating pad under the blanket you are laying them on, (hidden out of sight from the picture)

2- Always have your puppies facing a natural light source. (Not a direct source of light or you will have shadows) Placing them near a window but completely “in the shade” will bring in so much natural lighting.

Pictures are important to showcase your adorable pups, but not at the expense of stressing out the mom or the puppies. This post should help it run smoothly. If it doesn’t work the first time, leave everything set up, and try again later.

Indiana —> Arizona

Why did i bring 4 puppies home with me!? There were a few people here in AZ I knew of who were looking to add a new fur-friend to their family! I don’t have puppies right now, so I shared with them the breeder I was getting my puppy from and it worked out perfectly for me to bring the other puppies home.

I love being able to connect breeders to families and families to trustee breeders. There truly are some great breeders out there and connecting families who are anxiously waiting to add a fur friend to a breeder who has what they are looking for is rewarding.

Try👇🏼this if your puppy gets the zoomies around bedtime.

Before bedtime isn’t about just burning off physical energy—it’s about using their brain to burn off some mental energy.

A few minutes of intentional play, problem-solving, and engagement can make a huge difference in how well your puppy settles at night.
Instead of zoomies at bedtime … give your puppy 10-20 minutes of attention, problem solving and play and you will get a more calm, content, and ready to crash puppy.

One of my favorite ways to mentally fatigue my puppies is to use a snuffle mat (or you can even use a rolled up hand towel) with just five pieces of kibble or freeze dried treats. so they sleep better (and so do I 🙃).

One last potty break before bed and they should settle right down! Try it tonight and tell me how it goes!

2 dogs & 1 rope.

It might not look like it, but these two are getting along so well. Romeo is making himself comfortable with all of Remis toys, and Remi is loving having a new friend to share her toys with.

Last but not least out pretty little Bunny. She is definitely a favorite around here. She and Sky are just so tiny and petite so they get a lot the attention. Bunny is likely headed to California in a couple of weeks. We do puppy picks on Saturday! Excited for the families to meet their new babies.
