🐾 DOUBLE FIRST VISIT FRIDAY (DAISY EDITION) 🐾

Apparently, the name Daisy comes with an automatic dose of adorable! 🌼🌼

Dr. Kline recently welcomed not one, but TWO sweet pups named Daisy:

🐶 One Daisy is 16 weeks old, weighs 6 pounds and has enough fluffy curls to make a teddy bear jealous.

🐶 The other Daisy is 14 weeks old, weighs 11.8 pounds and has ears capable of detecting a treat bag opening from three rooms away.

Both girls quickly charmed our entire team! Welcome to the Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital family, Daisy and Daisy—we can’t wait to watch you grow! 💙

🎃🐝🍉 Trick or trio!

A pumpkin, a bumblebee, and a watermelon walk into a Big Red Barn…

No punchline here, just a whole lotta cute!

That’s Buddy (Pumpkin), Henry (Bumblebee), and Fergie (Watermelon), and these three look like they’re about to drop the cutest Halloween album of the year. 😂

We said “Awwww!” to each of them at least five times. We regret nothing.

Thanks for bringing some Halloween joy to the Big Red Barn, Buddy, Henry, and Fergie! ❤️🐾

Is your pet dressing up this year? We’d love to see their costume photos in the comments - or better yet, bring them into the hospital for us to fawn over and get a coupon for a free nail trim! 📸👻

After months of rigorous testing, we are proud to announce our findings:

☀️Doobie is solar powered 🔋

It's true.

Doobie will follow a sunbeam anywhere, including the sink.

This cat would follow a sunbeam up a wall if we’d just get him a ladder.

For now, please enjoy one lightly toasted Doobie, recharging his battery at the Big Red Barn. 🧡🐾

Spooky season is here, and our pets have some chilling tales to tell. Tales of suspense. Betrayal. Breakfast served three minutes behind schedule. 😂

A few terrifying examples:

🦴 “Treat jar empty.”
🧹 “The vacuum started.”
🍽️ “Breakfast was late.”
🎾 “Ball rolled underneath.”
✋ “Human stopped petting.”

The horror. The injustice. The Oscar-worthy facial expressions.

Big Red Barn family, let’s hear your pet’s three-word horror story! Drop it in the comments❤️

🚨🐿️ Official Fall Security Bulletin 🐿️🚨

Squirrel activity: suspicious.
Bird feeder: under investigation.
Window patrol: fully staffed.

While we’re enjoying cooler weather and colorful leaves, our pets are clocking in for their most important autumn assignment: making sure that squirrel knows it has been SEEN. 👀

Every twitch of a fluffy tail requires immediate attention. Every trip across the fence warrants a full report. Bathroom breaks? Someone will need to cover their shift.

To the dedicated neighborhood-watch members of our Big Red Barn family: we admire your commitment.

The squirrels, unfortunately, have absolutely no respect for authority. 😂❤️

Is your pet a silent investigator, a VERY vocal alarm system, or management watching from the couch? Tell us below—or share a photo of them on patrol! 📸🐾

🐾 First Friday at Pleasant Valley! 🐾

Meet Barkley, one of the newest members of the Pleasant Valley family! 🐶💚

Barkley stopped in for his very first visit with Dr. Uranko, and judging by that face, he’s still deciding whether the snacks were worth all the attention. 😂

We love getting to meet our newest patients and watching them grow up right alongside their families. Welcome to PVAH, Barkley — we’re so glad you’re here! 🐾

🐾 FIRST VISIT FRIDAY 🐾

Meet Max! At just 10 weeks old and already 18 pounds, this handsome boy arrived for his first visit with Dr. Uranko sporting some impressively big paws—and ears that are still deciding which direction they’d like to go. 😍

Max quickly won over our entire team, and we’re so excited to welcome him to the Pleasant Valley Animal Hospital family. We can’t wait to watch you grow, Max…although at this rate, we may need a much bigger chalkboard! 💙

🚧 Fresh Lines Incoming! 🚧

We’re giving our parking lot a little makeover! 🎨🐾

The area near our front entrance is temporarily closed off while new parking lines are being painted, so please use the parking lot behind the hospital when you arrive for your appointment.

The hospital is still open and operating normally — we’re just making sure everyone knows where to park while the paint dries. Because “paw prints in fresh paint” is cute in theory… less cute when they lead all the way into the lobby. 😂🐾

Thank you for your patience while we spruce things up around the Big Red Barn! ❤️

🐕 Lace up the sneakers — it’s National Walk Your Dog Week!

Walks aren’t just bathroom breaks.
They’re exercise.
They’re enrichment.
They’re sniffing the same bush for 4 full minutes because apparently there’s breaking news there. 😂

Regular walks can help with:
🐾 Maintaining a healthy weight
🧠 Mental stimulation and boredom prevention
💪 Keeping muscles and joints moving
❤️ Supporting overall health
🐕 Giving your dog a chance to explore, sniff, and just be a dog

And remember — a “good walk” doesn’t always have to mean going farther or faster.
For some dogs, especially seniors or dogs with mobility concerns, a shorter sniff-heavy stroll can be just as valuable as a long power walk.
So this week, add an extra loop around the block, explore a new trail, or let your dog stop and smell every single leaf if that’s what makes them happy. 🍂🐶
How far does your dog usually walk in a day — and are they a power walker or a professional sniffer?
