Asphalt can reach 150°F when the air is only 85°F. That's hot enough to cause burns in seconds.

Quick Test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement for 5 seconds. If you can't keep it there, neither can your dog.

In 2025 Lettie successfully beat cancer! 🎉 In 2026 she had ACL surgery and has recovered well. Lettie’s mom is super thankful to Dr. Geller, Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Denardo and all our staff. Lettie loves coming to our office as much as we love seeing her sweet face! 🤎🐾

Summer is officially here and so is the heat.

Pets can overheat quickly, especially flat-faced breeds, senior pets, and those with thick coats. Watch for:

- Heavy panting
- Excessive drooling
- Lethargy and/or weakness
- Vomiting

If you notice these signs, move your pet to a cool area and call us right away.

Cutest of cute! Three of these 8 week old babies need a home! Dr. Tiff Lehr's foster babies are ready to find their forever homes! They are Felv/FIV negative, dewormed and have received their 1st FVRCP vaccine.
