We are considering a spring breeding for what would be Maci’s final litter. She has had 3 litters and has had 5 champions to date by Marko. I would like to breed her to a special boy, but not without a full waitlist first as she has had 4 puppies her last 2 litters. This is Hansel and he is available for the right home that is located ideally within 1-2 hours from Tacoma, WA area.

He is a Taylor x Tori puppy boy. Both parents are champions and fully OFA health tested. He will be 15 weeks old tomorrow Thursday. He is well started on the leash and basic manners, as well as table training. Show potential puppy. He does not carry cream or long coat. He has a place with me until the right situation comes along (I have too many boys is the only reason 🙂)

1) I am looking for a Hokkaido puppy cooperative/partner home near to Tacoma WA for a 10 week old brindle girl out of a white dog I imported with Apricity and a girl co-owned with Mijikai Hokkaido. I do want to keep her for breed preservation as she is not affected by CEA and her parents are very nice mature dogs with good health tests/CEA not affected as well. I’m also a sucker for brindle. I feel she will be a good step forward for me and will give me more breeding male options out west. An ideal partner home will be able to keep her as their pet but kept intact for her to mature and later be evaluated for possible breeding. Please send inquiries to my email at [email protected]

2) I would also like to gauge interest in a cooperative home for a Kai Ken puppy at some point later in 2022 who could safely keep a nice puppy intact until maturity and bring me the puppy periodically to evaluate or do training with. I‘m flexible on the arrangement!

I love both of these breeds equally, and while I live with my Shibas full time, I still want to be able to help with breed preservation for my very rare breeds, which means partner homes would work best.

Good News Everybody! I have a happy problem in two parts:

The first problem is that someone on my deposited waitlist opted to ignore my deposit requirements, and impulse bought from a pet store/supported a puppy farm for Christmas instead of wait a couple of months for one of my well bred puppies that was reserved for them. So now rather suddenly, I have a last minute availability for a puppy from my girl Eva (CH San Jo Miss Moneypenny). There is a reason I plan my litters so far in advance, but wait to take more than a couple deposits until breeding has occurred. This is primarily due to the often smaller litter size, that I breed to place with other breeders/for show/performance homes first, and it is a lot of work on my end to secure really great experienced local pet homes.

The second happy problem is that there are at least 5 puppies, and they are due this weekend. I don't usually account for very large Shiba litters, but this is certainly that. This litter is sired by Ryu, the same dog that contributed to my last litter and dynamic puppy wonder duo, Leon and Maci. I expect very outgoing and stable puppies from Eva x Ryu as well. I also expect red, and black and tan puppies.
