🐾 Day ___ of Celebrating Dallas — Wagging Tails Doggy Boarding Dog of the Month! 🐾

Our sweet Dallas continues to shine as our Dog of the Month, and today we’re celebrating her with some exciting news… next week we’ll finally be returning to the yard — very part time for now — but we’re coming back! 🎉🐶

After all the waiting, resting, and healing, it feels so good to say those words. And let’s be real… if the pups could talk, they’d probably be shouting it from the rooftops. They are going to be SO excited to run, sniff, play, and tumble around with their friends again. 🐾💛

And nobody will be happier than Dallas. She loves this yard, she loves her friends, and she loves being right in the middle of all the action (even if she still barks at everyone at first 😂 — that’s just her way of saying, “This is MY place, and I’m keeping everyone safe!”).

Slowly but surely, we’re getting back into the swing of things, and we can’t wait to see all those happy tails wagging again.

Here’s to Dallas… our brave, loyal, funny girl… and to the joyful, playful days ahead! 🐶💫

🐾 Day 19 of Celebrating Dallas 🐾
Today, we honor not just her sweetness… but her strength. 💛

Dallas didn’t start her life with kindness. Her first year was filled with fear, uncertainty, and the kind of experiences that leave deep marks on a dog’s heart. Because of that, trust doesn’t come easy for her. She barks at new people, and sometimes when folks bring their dogs here, they might think she’s not friendly — but that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Dallas isn’t mean. She isn’t aggressive. She’s guarded.
And honestly? She has every right to be.

But with me, she’s gentle. She’s loving. She’s goofy, loyal, cuddly, and so full of sweetness it could melt anyone’s heart — if they only knew her story.

So today, on Day 19, we celebrate the miracle of who she became despite everything she went through. We celebrate the healing she’s doing at her own pace. We celebrate the trust she’s learned to place in one person… and the hope that one day she’ll feel safe enough to widen her circle.

Dallas is living proof that love can rewrite even the hardest beginnings.
And I’m honored to be part of her story. 🐶❤️

This was Dallas the day I brought her home. So terrified and guarded. But the next day she opened up and realized that she was safe with me.

Wagging Tails Doggy Boarding’s Dog of the Month! 🐾💛

Eighteen days of cheering on our sweet Dallas, and goodness… this girl just keeps stealing hearts. 🥹🐶 Every single day, she reminds us why she earned that spotlight — her goofy joy, her loyal spirit, and the way she loves her friends so deeply.

It’s been a tough stretch not being back at work yet, but celebrating Dallas each day has been a little bright spot. I know she’s missing her pup buddies like crazy, and honestly…I’m missing my people too. But we’re holding onto the happy moments, the cuddles, and the thankfulness that healing is happening — even if slower than we hoped.

Here’s to Dallas, our shining girl of the month — still making us smile, still making us proud, and still reminding us that love shows up in the simplest, sweetest ways. 💛🐾

🐾 Day 17 Celebrating Dallas — Wagging Tails Doggie Boarding Dog of the Month 🐾

Seventeen days of celebrating sweet Dallas… and today has a different kind of feeling. 💛

We truly thought we were heading back to work this week. We hoped. We prayed. We were ready. But sometimes our bodies speak louder than our plans — and Mom’s body is saying, “Not yet… rest a little longer.”

And that’s hard.
It’s sad.
And honestly… I miss my friends so much. 🐶💔

But even in this season of waiting, healing, and slowing down, I’m still the proud Dog of the Month — cheering on my buddies from home, wagging my tail at every memory, and trusting that brighter, busier days are coming soon. 🐾✨

Keep those paws crossed for us. We’ll be back — just not this week.
Healing first… then the fun begins again. 🙏💛

And in the meantime I am loving on my sisters Georgia and Jersey! We love you all! Love Dallas and my mom

Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update, even though this is one of the hardest messages for me to write. It absolutely breaks my heart to say that I won’t be able to open up this coming week. I truly thought I was making progress, but I woke up this morning with intense pain in my left knee—the same one Dallas ran into—and I feel like it’s God’s way of telling me I’m not ready yet.

As much as I want to push through, the truth is I’m still apprehensive about being down there in the yard with the dogs, and that alone makes me incredibly sad. I miss the pups more than I can say, and not being able to be with them has been so hard on my heart.

I am hopeful that I might be able to open on Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, but at this moment I just can’t promise anything. I’ll keep you all updated as I know more.

Thank you for your patience, your understanding, and your kindness. I appreciate you all more than you know. ❤️🐾

Come join us on December 6th (weather permitting) for our 2nd annual pup pictures with Santa!

Last year it poured down rain all day, So if this happens we will change the date to the following weekend December 13th.

We will have doggy bags for each pup.

12:00-2:00pm later if need be. Also I will be sending out personal invites for my customers! Can’t wait

There’s something special about a quiet Sunday morning — a day God set aside for rest, reflection, and a little extra gratitude. And today, I’m grateful for Day 16 of celebrating our sweet Dallas as Wagging Tails Doggy Boarding’s Dog of the Month! 🐾💛

Even though she hasn’t been able to play with her buddies lately, she’s still shining bright, tail wagging, soaking up all the love and attention. Dallas reminds me of something important: sometimes God slows us down so we can appreciate the simple joys we rush past during the week.

So today, let’s take a note from her sweet spirit —
Rest a little deeper.
Be grateful a little louder.
Love a little bigger.

🐾 Day 15 Celebrating Dallas — Wagging Tails Doggy Boarding’s Dog of the Month! 🐾

Sweet Dallas is still soaking up all the love from being our Dog of the Month, but today… her little heart is feeling it. 💔

She misses her buddies.
She misses the yard.
She misses the zoomies, the sniff parties, and the happy chaos of her pup friends running all around her. 🐶💨

Every time she hears a familiar bark, her ears perk up like she’s hoping today is the day she gets to go play again. She doesn’t understand why she can’t be out there right now, rolling in the grass and soaking up all the love from her doggy crew — she just knows she misses them deeply.

But even in the waiting, we are celebrating her sweet spirit. Dallas is patient, gentle, and full of hope… and we can’t wait for the moment she gets to reunite with her best friends.

Hang in there, girl. Your pack is waiting, and so are we. 🩷🐾

Our sweet girl is still holding her title as Wagging Tails Doggy Boarding’s Dog of the Month! 🎉

We may not be out in the yard just yet, but we’re working toward that goal every single day — one small step at a time. 💪💖

Dallas misses all her best buddies so much (and so do I!) The yard just isn’t the same without all those happy tails and playful barks. 🐶💞

Thank you all for your patience, love, and encouragement as we continue to heal and move forward. We can’t wait for the day we’re all back together again — tails wagging, paws running, and hearts full. 💕🐾

We’re still taking this time to rest and heal, but oh how we’re missing all the pups! The yard feels far too quiet without all those happy tails wagging and playful barks filling the air. 🐶💔

Dallas misses her best friends so much — she keeps looking out, waiting for her buddies to come running. And my heart aches that I can’t be out there with them right now. 💞

Sometimes life makes us slow down when we least want to… but our love for your pups keeps us going, and we can’t wait to be back with them soon. ❤️
