We are home and settled in after a busy week at the Octoberfest Horse Show put on by Twin State American Saddlebred Association. This show is always a blast and we couldn’t be prouder of our amazing horse and rider teams who represented the John Bennett Stables banner! From beautiful rides in the arena to big smiles in the barn aisle, every moment showed just how much hard work, dedication, and love for the horses goes into what we do.❤️

Our next newly minted champion is our very own Leah Benzie, who took home the 2025 Grand National title for the Junior Exhibitor Carriage Driving division at the Grand National & World Championship Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma City, OK! Leah drove Shirley Haas's lovely Morgan, Final Judgement, to the tricolor win and represented the Bennett legacy perfectly.

Thank you to Shirley for working with Leah and giving her this amazing opportunity!

The dust has settled from a very busy October at JBS and we have many newly minted champions to congratulate! The first is Nicole Giles, who brought home her first championship with her Friesian mare Antje at Camp Marshall a few weeks ago! We are so proud of the progress Nicole has made this year with Antje.

And to make Nicole's day even better, she ALSO won a championship with B Sharp Major!

Congratulations Nicole on your many wins at Camp Marshall! We are so proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish next!

The Brooklyn Fair Horse Show was this past weekend and we had many riders and drivers participate in our new favorite local fair! Everyone loved the camaraderie and fun family-friendly environment at the Fair. Thank you to the show committee for putting on a fun show!
