For dogs like Mookie, with several bites on their own family members, it’s easy to forget that not everything needs to be so serious.
Mookie seems to expect conflict in everything.
Teaching him that obedience isn’t something that you have to do- but something that you can USE to make fun happen… is one of the most beneficial things he could ever learn.

🖤 makes my heart happy.

Beginning of April 1, 2026 will no longer allow pets to come for boarding with AirTags
While we understand the peace of mind that this may bring you, AirTags are actually not a great way to track your pet. Should they become lost, and they pose a real safety concern for myself, and my staff being tracked while traveling.

While we strive to maintain a great relationship with our clients, and most of our clients have become trusted friends, we do not want to run the risk of being tracked for the wrong intentions.

If you have any questions, I would love to chat with you about this
We appreciate your understanding in this matter

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT FOR BOARDING 📣📣📣📣

Beginning September 1 2025 I will only be offering pick up and drop off two days a week (Monday and Thursday)

Additionally-
Dogs may be dropped off and picked up here at AK9 between the hours of 9 AM and 4 PM by appointment only

Your pick up and drop off time must be arranged and approved ahead of time. Please do not just show up or text me when you are on your way-unless previously discussed

There will be absolutely no pick up and drop off on Sundays
If you cannot get your dog on Saturday, you will be charged for Sunday boarding

Any pick ups and drop off after 12 PM noon will be charged a $50 day fee for boarding/daycare

all of these changes are meant to allow me to have more time here with my hands on the dogs-
Which I struggle to do when I am spending the majority of the day driving back-and-forth to Westchester, Greenwich, and Manhattan .

There may be a time in the future, where we have a driver specified for dropping off and picking up as of now we need to cut back on the service to allow myself more time to be training here at the facility .

after a big step back from training, my main focus is returning to training as our number one priority -
With the focus on board and train service

This means we will be much less available for regular boarding so please be mindful of this when booking your vacations

I have some people I can recommend for boarding or in-home sitting-

thank you for understanding these changes and mostly, thank you for your continued support and business over the years

Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns ❤️
