We not only take in parrots for whatever reason and find appropriate, loving homes for them. We provide community education at local adoption events. We will also make presentations to organizations and clubs upon request. Parrot Outreach Society will help families in temporary crisis or need of food to enable them to keep their parrot. A huge THANK YOU to Parrot Posse! šŸ’ššŸ¦œ

When we recently put out a call for help because we were running low on toys and food, Parrot Posse immediately stepped up and answered the call. Thanks to their generosity and quick response, our birds have the supplies they need, and we can continue focusing on the care and rehabilitation of the parrots who depend on us.

Parrot Posse has been an incredible source of support, not only for our rescue but for so many others in the parrot community. Their dedication to helping birds and the organizations that care for them truly makes a difference.

A huge thank you to the Florida West Coast Avian Society Inc. for once again going out of their way to make and donate toys for our birds. Their support for us is truly never-ending, and they are an incredible group that gives so much back to the bird community. Huge shout out once again to the amazing The Parrot Posse for their incredible toy donation. We are beyond thankful for their continued support. After our recent large intake of cockatoos, they stepped in immediately to help make sure these birds had enrichment, comfort, and things to keep their minds busy during such a stressful transition.

They are always in rescueā€™s corner, always ready to help, and they truly make everything easier for organizations like ours. Donations to them directly help birds like ours get the care, toys, and support they desperately need. We are so grateful to have people like them standing beside rescues and the animals we fight for every day. ā¤ļø

After a very unscientific review of all the comments and reactionsā€¦ Team Cockatoo appears to be pulling slightly ahead! šŸ˜‚

Hereā€™s what everyone had to say:

šŸ¤ Team Cockatoo positives:ā€¢ Hilarious personalitiesā€¢ Endless energyā€¢ Comical and dramatic (sometimes too dramatic šŸ˜…)ā€¢ Super affectionate and lovableā€¢ Always keeping life interesting

šŸ¤ Team Cockatoo negatives:ā€¢ The dander šŸ™ˆā€¢ Velcro bird tendenciesā€¢ Drama levels = expert
