Congratulations to Murphy, River and Piper on a GREAT trial weekend at Richland Kennel Club’s rally trial 🎉

🎉 HE DID IT AGAIN 🎉

Glen spent the weekend up in Canada at UK9BG PSA Club’s regional competition and came home yesterday with quite the lineup of trophies and hardware.

After competing in Level 1 and taking first and second place with Yogi and Nala at regionals last year, he took to the field with Creed (Level 1) and Yogi (Level 2) and took first with BOTH dogs. Yogi completed the second required leg to get his PSA Level 2 title (completing the title in only 2 attempts!) and Creed completed a third leg of his Level 1 after closing out his title earlier this year.

Anyone that knows the sport knows the time, skill and dedication it takes to get to this point. The long drives, the late night training sessions and the constant planning and tracking to keep the dogs happy and healthy when under a strenuous work load, all coming together for one very nerve-inducing performance on the trial field. The hard work paid off and all 3 of them did a dang good job.

Glen is on the road again for a few weeks of exciting travel including decoying, working his dogs and helping his club members gear up for a WDA trial at the beginning of October. Please be patient if responses take a little longer while he’s out of town, as the business will be a one-woman show for a couple weeks. After all, it may take me the full 2 weeks to figure out where to put all the new trophies! Kidding of course, but it is on the to-do list 😉.

Help us in congratulating Glen, Yogi and Creed on a fantastic weekend:

Creed - PSA Level 1 Regional Champion
- High protection
- High in trial
- High owner trained
- High owner trained club

Yogi - PSA Level 2 Regional Champion

“If I like it, I’ll grab it in every color”

Miss Ruby came for daycare today and completed the lab rainbow 🌈

After a great morning evaluating some dogs at the Lewis Clark Animal Shelter, these two sweet faces are off on their next adventures. Both pups are off to exciting new careers - one as a therapy prospect and the other as a service prospect. Can’t wait to be a part of the journey for these two and their handlers ❤️🐾

Yesterday ended a great few days of vacation board and train with Danaher! This big, fluffy guy got lots of reps in to help boost his confidence in new scenarios, as well as to work on the resource guarding issues he’s been having at home. We had a great time together and he sure loved the one-on-one attention (and of course the treats!) 🐾

Always a treat when we get to see our program graduates again! Cashew (raise and train service dog graduate, 2025) came to stay for the weekend and had a blast romping around with his old buddies 🐶

A few days late in posting, but huge congratulations are in order for our competition group after a VERY successful few days in Lewiston last weekend. We’re so proud of all the work this group puts in on a weekly (and daily!) basis and can’t wait to see them compete at the next trial 🎉

A little late posting, but a few sweet faces from the Thursday/Friday crew 🐶

Even with the crazy flooding (our training field quickly became a lake!), we had a great weekend full of trial prep with some of our local teams and a visit from some of our friends from Treasure Valley PSA Club. These teams have been putting in a TON of work and we can’t wait to see some of them hit the trial field in a few short weeks in California. Between visiting TVPSA in Boise to train a couple weeks ago and them coming to visit this past weekend, it’s been a great few weeks with some awesome teams. Be sure to help us wish everyone (including head trainer Glen and two of his dogs) good luck when the trial comes at the end of the month!
