Well we gave them an extra 3 DAYS but these little guys just did not want to open those eyes all the way so we have some squinty babies for two week pics!

Despite being very advanced in their movements with everyone up and walking around, they have our new record for slowest litter to open their eyes which I find very interesting! I’ve also noticed in general it seems to be the bigger puppies in each litter that like to open eyes last. Not sure why that is tho maybe they are just too focused on growing big and strong!

I had to enlist my assistant for these pics because they were so wiggly! Truly some little speed demons in the bunch. When they aren’t passed out it’s like a puppy rave. I think by next weekend everyone will be ready to graduate to the big kid play pen!

2 weeks old today and we all have eyes! Kroger was the last to join the club but popped his open this evening just before picture time.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME HOW DID YHEY GET A MILLION TIMES CUTER?!?!??

We have now reached potatoes with eyes that stumble around stage 2 of puppyhood! They get some toys and beds and the pig rails around the edge get removed as they are much too fat to get squished on accident now (perks of a smaller breed)

They are going to become so much more advanced in the next two weeks compared to the first two weeks and maybe if they stop trying to be so round we can see some stacks next week!

1 week pics for our little campers!

It seems I severely overestimated how many weeks they would fit in this tent 😂 I thought for sure I would have up till three weeks but it appears maybe not! But that’s ok

I like making the neonate week shoots fun with props but once they starting looking and acting like real puppies it’s best for everyone’s sanity to go a more simplistic route lol.

I think both Poppy and I are ready for these babies to get out of the woods per se. it’s a lot of work to keep all seven on a good feeding rotation especially as they grow and room on lil mama Pop buffet stays the same! But this crew is so fun! We’re checking everyday for peepers!

A week already?!

These little produce puppies having really chunked up in the last week more than doubling their birth weight (and cuteness)!!

All they really do at this age is eat sleep and p**p 😂 we call it the potato stage, but we are starting to see some glimpses of who they might be!

So excited for eyes and ears to start opening so I can introduce them to my sick fireworks/thunderstorms playlist and TOYS!! Ophelia is going to love that part too 😂

A Big Welcome to our National Parks litter! Who we weren’t expecting until today actually but we’re so happy to see them anyway 💚💚

Poppy has out done herself once again giving us SEVEN beautiful babies as her grand finale and when I tell you we could not believe our eyes seeing five blues in the bunch too 😱 we were speechless!! It turns out sire Starrinite’s Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues does indeed have MANY blues lol

Poppy is being the worlds best mother once again and fattening her kids up in no time although some of them came out larger than Ophelia’s 3 day olds 😅 so she has her work cut out for her but she truly loves them.

We’re so excited to watch them grow and see their assuredly confident little personalities develop.
I’ll be going live tomorrow to introduce both litters at 3pm CST

Teton and Zion are our boys in the litter everyone else is a little lady!

We got the Groceries!

Meet the kiddos of the Parker x Ophelia litter. We kicked things off with a lovely day time whelp at 4pm and had everybody on the ground and settled by 10pm. Sadly the last pup, a beautiful bi-color girl was still born, named Meijer to be remembered as a part of this litter forever in our hearts 💚

Ophelia is being an AMAZING mother she is so careful around her puppies and keeps them so clean and full of milk! We didn’t even see a drop from birth weight on these babies. Truly she gave us the best first experience with a free whelp and we are beyond proud of her.

We will be doing weekly updated pictures again and hopefully a live later this week to meet their squeaky little selves!

The pups are listed in birth order both bis are boys and the tris are girls

I BET you’ve been wondering what we’ve been keeping up our sleeve…

Well the wait is over, and we’re ready to show our hand. We’re thrilled to introduce our new import:

“Gamble”

Gamble is co-owned by myself, Jonah and Chanel of Glade Mill Sporting & Hound and he is bred by T**e Larsen and Karin Søgaard.

Sometimes you have to take a chance and this time we think we hit the jackpot! We’re so excited for what the future holds for this special boy.

It seems great things always come in twos here at Kvell!

We are so happy and proud to announce The National Parks litter is also confirmed via ultrasound 💚💚

We tried this breeding back in December via a chilled shipment which unfortunately missed but I am nothing if not persistent! So last month Poppy and I took a little vacation to Surprise, AZ to hang out with sweet Charlie and his family for a few days. It appears our efforts have been VERY successful. This will be my iconic Poppy’s third and final litter we are so excited to see what these two produce together!

Huge thank you to Shelley Crovetto and Jami Goto and family for letting me use lovely Charlie and crash at your place :)
