My precious little Princess Belle is out of surgery and she is in recovery. ❤️‍🩹. Everything went very well and she will be coming home tomorrow. We are so grateful for all of the kind words and prayers.

Please say a prayer for our little Belle. Last night while I was feeding, I noticed Belle was just standing, not moving not eating! She wasn’t even following me to the gate. It was her favorite time of day, only she comes out to eat her Equine Senior and sometimes she gets a little extra and cleans up whatever Titus drops. I started walking over to check on her sand noticed blood coming from her not so good eye. I made her come with me and sure enough blood and some clear thick fluid coming out of her eye. I don’t know what she hit it on but it was very clear she had to be rushed to Littleton, for eye surgery. Once confirmed by Dr Marrott and Jesse grabbed (every time I walked away she began to shake) the Sprinter van drove the hour and a half hoping by some miracle we could save her eye. During the log drive. I had to continue to remind Belle I was there when she was scared and called out. Once the surgeon confirmed our fear, her eye was ruptured and needed to be removed she also followed up with, she will no longer be in pain because this eye is indeed the eye the one diagnosed with Uveitis and we constantly need to put meds in. We did receive miracle, once that eye is removed she truly will no longer be in pain!

This little girl has changed so many lives with her sweet nature, and the heart shape on her nose always nuzzling for more cookie, pets or love is her signature move! Please pray for a quick recovery so she can come home and do the important work she does with the seniors and youth!

Meet the newest rescue here at Mini Angel Eyes. This was a neglect situation where she lived in someone’s back yard for about 10 years. Thank you Medicine Hat a training for thinking of us to care for this sweet girl! She hasn’t had her teeth done, ever, she looks to be possibly laminitis or foundered her poor feet, and hasn’t had the best nutrition in those 10 years! However she is just a bundle of love and is getting SO MUCH LOVE now that we are in charge of her care. Pretty sure she has a new momma lined up already! 💕💕
