Looking for a loving home for a sweet 4-year-old male Schnauzer 🐾

I’m his groomer and have gotten to know this little guy well, and he truly deserves a calm, loving home. He’s a 4-year-old male Schnauzer who is on the shy side at first, but once he warms up, he’s very sweet and gentle.
He would do best with someone who has the time and patience to help him feel safe and loved. A quieter home where he can build trust at his own pace would be perfect for him. With a little consistency and kindness, he really blossoms.
He’s past the puppy stage, so he’s more relaxed, but he still enjoys attention and companionship. He just needs the right person to give him that chance ❤️

🐾✂️ STOP SC******NG THE UNDERCOAT! ✂️🐾
(Yes… we said it.)

At K-9 Nation: The Bubble Barracks, we see this ALL the time—and it can do more harm than good.
Not every dog should have their undercoat cut into. In fact, for double-coated breeds… it can cause long-term damage 🚫

🚨 What happens when you cut into the undercoat?
❌ INCREASED SHEDDING
You’re not removing the problem—you’re making it worse. Cut undercoat grows back uneven, loose, and CONSTANTLY sheds.
❌ DAMAGED COAT TEXTURE
That soft, smooth coat? Gone.
It can grow back patchy, fuzzy, or even wiry.
❌ RUINED NATURAL INSULATION
The undercoat regulates temperature—both heat AND cold.
Cutting it can leave your dog hotter in summer and colder in winter 😬
❌ RISK OF “COAT SHOCK”
Some coats may NEVER grow back the same after being cut or shaved.
❌ MATTING GETS WORSE
Instead of properly de-shedding, cutting can cause the coat to tangle tighter as it regrows.

Meet Doby, he is a full blood Corgi and he’s looking for someone to love him forever. We had a customer surrender him to us a few months ago because her work schedule was going to be taking her out of town and we’ve been working on training him which has been a success. He now uses a doggy door for the restroom and he is crate trained. He is a super sweet baby but we will be very picky as to who he goes to. He is great with small dogs but like to be the “Man” around big dogs so probably not a good fit if you have big dogs.

If you or know someone that will love him forever please reach out to us!! There is no adoption fee and he will come with his bed and toys 🧸

We have been grooming him for over a year and he weighs 22 pounds.

Please keep Macklyn in your prayers today!!

I came home after doing some running today and seeing Macklyn at the shop to find our sweet Trixie deceased. She hasn’t been feeling good for awhile with arthritis issues in her legs and has been on medicine but she just couldn’t take it anymore.

We love you sweet Trixie, you were one of the best little girls and it was one of the best decisions we have made rescuing you 7 years ago!!

Now we will be adding another halo to our painting in the shop ❤️
