The rumor is true! After 46 years of expertly treating and caring for pets, Dr. Coleman will retire and close the practice December 21. It has been a privilege knowing you and caring for your pets all these years!

You can pick up your pets' records before then any Monday- Wednesday 8:30-2:30. We recommend you find another veterinarian and get established with their practice as soon as possible.

If you'd like to send cards, photos, notes or letters, we are putting together a gratitude notebook for Doc. You can bring them by, mail or email them.

Foxtails are here! Those weeds growing in fields or on the edges of yards drop little seeds that your dogs pick up in their fur. They often get stuck between their toes and can imbed in the skin, causing painful sores. (We have never heard of one migrating to the heart and killing a dog but we've been told that urban myth many times!)
Check your dog's feet after every walk or trip outside for the next few months.
If you find a blister, bubble or sore between toes you can try soaking the paw a few times a day in a warm Epsom salt solution to draw it out.

Shhhh....
We're putting together a book for Dr. Coleman to give him when he retires (no, not immediately!) and we need your stories and pictures. This will be a surprise for him when he does eventually retire. We know so many of you have great memories of coming to the clinic over the past 18 years.

If you have a meaningful, funny or interesting story or sweet memory of Doc's care you'd like to share, please get it to us so we can add it to his book. Help him remember the weird surgeries, tender goodbyes, unusual cases and precious puppies he's taken care of. Pictures are especially appreciated.

Update... Owner Found

*** Lost Dog ***

We are looking for the Owner of a Small Female Yorkie. She was found on Devonshire Dr in Provo and brought to our office. She looks healthy and well taken care of but older. Seems to be deaf and blind. Someone must be worried sick about her.

We will also make contact the Shelter and Animal Control.
