Happy 3rd birthday Maple! 🎉🍁 Maple is a Puppy Day School alum, who now keeps the tiny group in check when they get too rowdy!

The whole tiny group, and his big sister Lexi the Basenji helped him celebrate with cake: Theo the Tibetan Spaniel, Muffin the Miniature American Shepherd, Molly the Beagle, and Milo the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Cheers, Maple! 🎊

Dual-wielding treats? Not a problem for our freshly-minted Junior Dog Trainer, Nate! He passed his latest dog training test with flying colors, taking this next step in the journey towards becoming a professional dog trainer here at Crossbones. 👨‍🎓

Nate splits his time between puppy training sessions and supervising daycare playgroups, helping everyone to stay on their best behavior. Here, he’s working on group sits with some of the dogs in our Small group, encouraging them to take a break from play to stay regulated.

Swipe to see just SOME of what to expect this Saturday at our Neighborhood Pet Store Day event! ➡️

We’ll also have more surprises in store, because some of the deals are SO good that the brands won’t let us share them online or in advance. They’re top secret! 🤐

We’ll also have enrichment activity stations for your friendly pup to enjoy, plus raffles, gifts, and more.

Our Community Partner for this event is Rhode Island SPCA & they’ll have a booth at our event with some cool swag, as well as a wishlist of items in our store. So if your dog already has everything they could ever need, you can shop for some pups in need!

We know the weather forecast isn’t great, but the good news is our event is entirely INDOORS. We also have VENDOR SPACE available for local businesses who would like to join us! We know that WaterFire and many local farmer’s markets are being cancelled due to the rain, and would like to extend an invitation for you to set up your booth or table inside. 🛍️

All vendor booth fees benefit RISPCA, so it’s a win-win! Please help us spread the word about this to any Providence area vendors that may be rained out. We’d love to have them join us!

If you, or someone you know, has a booth at a farmers market or craft fair on Saturday that is being cancelled due to the nor’easter… we are here to help! ☔️

We have INDOOR space for additional vendors at our Neighborhood Pet Store Day event at our dog training facility in Providence on Saturday from 10-2.

Vendors don’t need to be pet-related! Space proceeds benefit RI Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals so it’s a win-win.

This event is all about shopping local, and we’re here to support our community any way we can!
