🐾💜 TECH WEEK SPOTLIGHT: SOPHIA! 💜🐾

Please help us welcome our newest team member at Healing Paws, Sophia! 🎉

Since joining our team earlier this month, Sophia has jumped right into the waders and couldn’t wait to help our four-legged friends in the underwater treadmill! 🐶💦 We love her enthusiasm and eagerness to learn!

Sophia is a senior at URI studying Animal Science, and we know BIG things are ahead for this girl! 🎓🐾 We’re so excited to have her on the team and can’t wait to see where her journey takes her.

Welcome to the Healing Paws family, Sophia! 💜 Thank you for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm to our team and for helping us make a difference in the lives of our amazing patients! 🐾

❤️ Paying It Forward ❤️

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Healing Paws is witnessing the incredible compassion within our community.

Yesterday, Sigmon, a handsome German Shepherd living with degenerative myelopathy (DM), was fitted with a set of wheels that will help him continue enjoying life and staying mobile.

What makes this moment even more special is that these wheels were generously donated by the family of Bailey, one of our longtime patients who also bravely lived with DM. After Bailey crossed the rainbow bridge, her mom and dad wanted to honor her memory by giving another family the opportunity to create more happy memories together.

Their kindness is a beautiful reminder that even during times of loss, love can continue to make a difference.

From all of us at Healing Paws, and from Sigmon’s family, thank you to Bailey’s mom and dad for your incredible generosity. Because of your gift, Bailey’s legacy will continue to bring comfort, mobility, and joy to another deserving dog.

Bailey’s spirit lives on through this wonderful act of kindness, proving that love doesn’t end—it simply finds new ways to help others.

Thank you for paying it forward. ❤️🐾
