🐾 Important Notice About Kennel Cough🐾

At Pampered Paw Spa, the health and safety of every pet in our care is our top priority.

We have recently been made aware of cases of Kennel Cough in the area. Kennel Cough is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can spread through direct contact with other dogs, shared water bowls, dog parks, boarding facilities, grooming salons, and other social environments.

Common Symptoms Include:
✔ Persistent dry or honking cough
✔ Sneezing
✔ Runny nose
✔ Watery eyes
✔ Lethargy
✔ Loss of appetite

If your pet is showing any signs of illness, please contact us before your appointment. We may need to reschedule your visit to help protect other pets and our staff.

We strongly encourage all pet owners to discuss the Bordetella (Kennel Cough) vaccine with their veterinarian and ensure their pets are up to date on recommended vaccinations.

As always, we continue to maintain strict cleaning and sanitizing procedures throughout our salon to provide a safe and healthy environment for every guest.

🐾 FLEA & TICK AWARENESS 🐾

As the weather warms up, fleas and ticks become more active and can quickly become a problem for both pets and their families.

Fleas can cause:
▪️ Excessive scratching
▪️ Skin irritation and allergies
▪️ Hair loss
▪️ Anemia in severe infestations

Ticks can carry diseases and may cause:
▪️ Redness or irritation
▪️ Lethargy
▪️ Loss of appetite
▪️ Joint pain or lameness

✅ Check your pet regularly, especially around the ears, neck, under the collar, between the toes, and around the tail.

✅ Keep your yard maintained and avoid tall grass when possible.

✅ Use veterinarian-recommended flea and tick prevention year-round.

At Pampered Paw Spa, we’re happy to help alert you if we notice signs of fleas or ticks during your pet’s grooming appointment. Early detection can make a big difference!

⚠️ Power Outage Announcement ⚠️

Due to the current power outage, Pampered Paw Spa will be closed today.

We plan to reopen tomorrow during our normal business hours, unless the power outage continues. We will keep everyone updated if anything changes.

Pampered Paw Spa will be closed Sunday, May 24th and Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

We will reopen and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th.

📢 Important Policy Update – Effective June 1st 📢

At Pampered Paw Spa, we strive to provide every pet with dedicated one-on-one grooming appointments and reserved time slots. To help us continue offering the best care and scheduling availability for all clients, we will be updating our cancellation policy effective June 1st.

🐾 Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
• Same-day cancellations and No Shows will result in a 100% appointment fee.

🐾 Medical Emergencies
We understand emergencies happen, and exceptions will be made for verified medical emergencies.

🐾 Outstanding Balances
All cancellation and no-show fees must be paid in full before booking any future appointments.

We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect for our groomers’ time. Thank you for trusting us with your pets and allowing us to continue providing the royal treatment they deserve! 💜
