🐾💗 THIS WEEK, WE CELEBRATE THESE HARD-WORKING LADIES! 💗🐾
It’s Vet Tech Week at Mid Carolina Animal Hospital, and we are SO excited to celebrate the amazing ladies who give so much of themselves to our patients, our clients, and our team! 🩺

They comfort the scared, cuddle the sweet, wrangle the wild, clean ALL the things, keep the doctors on track, and somehow manage to do it all while covered in fur, slobber, and who-knows-what! 🐾

These girls work hard, love BIG, and put their hearts into veterinary medicine every single day. ❤️

We are incredibly thankful for each of you and everything you do! ✨✨

Happy Vet Tech Week to our amazing crew! 🎉

🍂🐾 Happy Fall, Pet Families! 🐾🍁

As the seasons change, so do a few things for our pets:

✨ Keep an eye out for fall toxins like certain mushrooms, plants, and decorations.
🐾 Watch those joints and older pets as cooler weather can make aches more noticeable.
🦟 Don’t forget—fleas, ticks, and mosquitoes are still active in South Carolina! Prevention matters year-round.
🎃 Keep candy, especially chocolate, safely out of paw's reach.
🍂 And if something about your pet seems “just not quite right,” trust your gut and give us a call.

Mid- Carolina Animal Hospital is here for more than sick visits—we’re here to help keep your pets healthy, happy, and by your side for all the seasons to come. ❤️

And of course… show us those adorable fall pet pictures! 📸🐾

🚨 A Healthy Weight= A Happier & Healthy Pet 🚨

Those extra treats, table scraps, and “but they looked hungry!” moments can add up quickly. While a little extra fluff may look cute, obesity in dogs and cats can lead to serious health problems and may shorten their quality of life.

Keeping your pet at a healthy weight can help support:
✨ Healthy joints & mobility
✨ Better energy levels
✨ Heart & respiratory health
✨ A longer, happier life

And remember—every pet is different! What’s a healthy weight for one pet may not be right for another.

Healthy pets=Happy families. 🐶🐱

❤️🐾 VET MED = HEARTwork 🐾❤️

🐶Veterinary Medicine isn’t just a job. It’s early mornings, long days, messy clothes, worried pet parents, happy tears, hard days, a WHOLE LOT of teamwork & love with some of the most rewarding moments you’ll ever experience.🐱

Some days are challenging. Some days leave us exhausted. But every day, we have the privilege of caring for the pets who mean so much to their people!🐾

It’s not always glamorous. It’s not always easy. But it’s always worth it. 🐾

Great veterinary care takes more than one heart. It takes a TEAM with HEART! 💕

🍂🐾 FALL IS HERE… BUT SO ARE SOME PET TOXINS! 🐾🍂

As we enjoy cooler weather, cozy decorations, and all things pumpkin, remember that some of our favorite fall items can be dangerous for our four-legged family members. 🐶🐱

⚠️ Watch out for:
🍂 Mushrooms growing in the yard
🎃 Pumpkin products containing spices or artificial sweeteners
🌰 Acorns, walnuts & other fallen nuts
🌿 Certain fall plants, flowers & decorations
🕯️ Candles, potpourri & essential oils
🍫 Halloween candy — especially chocolate & sugar-free treats
🍇 Raisins & grapes hiding in fall snacks

Pets are curious, and sometimes that “just one little bite” can turn into an emergency!

Keep those tempting treats and decorations out of reach, and keep an eye on what your pets are sniffing, chewing, and eating while enjoying the season. ❤️🐾

🍁 Have a safe, cozy & toxin-free fall from all of us at
Mid-Carolina Animal Hospital!
