🐾 REMEMBER THAT BIG, SCARY MONSTER LEO?! 🐾

Welp, that's right! We're headed to his NEW FARM! 🏡🐶

Leo made a trip to the vet last night, where he received his heartworm prevention and rabies vaccination! He's all set and ready for his next chapter! ❤️

At Villa La Beast, we believe rescue doesn't stop at finding a dog a home. We want to make sure our dogs receive the care they need before heading off to their new families. That's one less thing for their new owners to worry about!

Every donation helps us continue providing that care for the next dog in need. 🐾

Maverick and Goose spent their days standing watch, protecting goats, and giving everything they had to the farm they called home. ❤️

Now, these young Great Pyrenees brothers need a new place to belong. Through circumstances beyond their family's control, their next chapter depends on someone willing to see their potential.

Meet Maverick and Goose.

And that's where Villa La Beast comes in! 🐾

The reality of rescue isn't always pretty—and it certainly isn't cheap. Every dog that comes through our gates means more food, veterinary care, attention, and responsibility. We can't stop feeding animals because donations are slow or delay care because money is tight. Rescue doesn't work on a convenient schedule.

Bringing in two more dogs is a commitment, but we've seen the difference a safe farm placement can make. Somewhere out there is a farm that needs Maverick and a family that could use Goose. Sometimes all that stands between them and a better future is someone willing to give them a chance.

That's what we do here. We give them that chance.

But I can't do it without you.

We don't charge adoption fees. We transport our dogs, help introduce them to their new environments, and do everything we can to make each placement successful. That comes at a cost we gladly take on because these animals deserve it.

❤️ If you've ever followed our journey, celebrated an adoption, or smiled at one of our rescue stories, please consider helping us make the next one possible.

Whether it's $5, $10, $25, or simply sharing this post, every bit of support keeps this rescue moving forward.

🐾 The Reality of Rescue 🐾

We are contacted and tagged regularly about dogs that need somewhere to go, and the truth is, we have the room to help. What we don't currently have is the funding to responsibly keep bringing dogs in.

On average, it costs Villa La Beast about $1,200 to rescue one dog. That covers transportation and fuel, initial veterinary care, food including special diets when needed, and the expenses of getting that dog settled and cared for.

Villa La Beast does receive donations, and we are extremely grateful for every one of them. Unfortunately, the donations coming in simply don't add up to the cost of taking in another dog.

For a long time, I've personally covered the difference, at times spending around $8,000 a month keeping Villa La Beast operating. I simply can't continue carrying that expense personally.

With enough support to cover those initial costs, we can continue opening our doors to dogs that need us. Reaching that $1,200 mark gives us what we need to confidently take on another rescue without taking resources away from the animals already in our care.

And it doesn't take one person giving $1,200:

🐾 120 people giving $10 = $1,200
🐾 60 people giving $20 = $1,200
🐾 24 people giving $50 = $1,200
🐾 12 people giving $100 = $1,200

The dogs are out there. The calls and tags are coming in. We have the space, and we're ready to do the work. We just need the funding to make it possible.

🐾❤️ WE'VE DONE IT AGAIN! ANOTHER DOG, ANOTHER FARM! ❤️🐾

That's right, folks! Another one of our rescues is getting ready to start his next chapter!

LEO IS HEADED TO HIS NEW FARM! 🐶🏡

Leo has had quite the journey, traveling all the way from the mountains of North Carolina to us here at Villa La Beast. And now, we're excited to announce that Leo is officially scheduled to head to his new farm on October 20th! 🎉

Are you excited?! Because I KNOW I AM! ❤️

Every dog that comes through our gates has a story, and there's nothing better than watching that story turn into a new beginning. Leo's journey is another reminder of exactly why we do what we do.

To everyone who continues to support Villa La Beast, THANK YOU! Whether you've donated, shared our posts, helped with supplies, or simply cheered us on, you're helping make these placements possible.

And we're not slowing down! There's always another dog waiting for a chance, another farm looking for a guardian, and another journey waiting to begin. 🐾

🐾 A Little Villa La Beast Check-In ❤️

It’s been a busy few weeks around here, so I figured it was time to slow down for a minute and share some of the good stuff happening at Villa La Beast!

Wolfie and Mama have officially started their next chapter! 🥹❤️ They were placed together on a wonderful local farm, and they are doing great. Even better, there are kids there—which means Wolfie absolutely hit the jackpot. She now has a steady supply of people willing to give her all the belly scratches she could possibly want. 😂❤️

Seeing the two of them settling in, comfortable and loved, is exactly what we hope for with every placement.

LP is doing wonderful too! Her newest obsession is the fig trees. 😂 She gets in there and basically disappears into her own little world. If you can’t find LP, check the figs!

And then there’s Georgia. ❤️🐴 It’s hard to believe it’s been almost a year since we rescued her. Looking back at the skinny, bony girl who first arrived and seeing the beautiful horse she is today is incredible. She has truly gone from bones to beautiful, and watching that transformation has made every bit of work worth it.

The dogs are also LOVING this change in weather. They’re outside doing what they do 24/7, but these cooler nights were made for Great Pyrenees. They’re hanging out with the livestock, stretched out around the farm, and thoroughly enjoying the fact that those giant fluffy coats finally make sense again. 😂

There is always something happening around here—dogs coming and going, animals healing, new placements, farm chores, and plenty of chaos in between. But looking around and seeing everyone happy, healthy, and enjoying life makes the chaos worth it. ❤️

As always, thank you to everyone who follows us, shares our posts, donates, volunteers, adopts, and continues to support what we’re doing. Every bit of support goes right back into caring for these animals and helping us continue to be there when another one needs us.

🔨🐾 INTRODUCING VILLA WORKS HOME SERVICES 🐾🔨

Good Work for a Greater Cause.
Every Repair Helps a Rescue.

I’m excited to officially introduce Villa Works Home Services, a new home repair and handyman service created with a purpose much bigger than simply fixing things around the house.

Villa Works will offer services including:

🔨 Carpentry and trim work
🚪 Door replacement and repairs
🏠 General home repairs and maintenance
🚿 Minor plumbing repairs
💡 Light electrical work, including switches, outlets and fixture replacements
🛠️ And other small repair and improvement projects around the home

But what makes Villa Works different is where the money goes.

100% of the net profits from Villa Works Home Services will be donated directly to Villa La Beast, Inc.

That means when you hire us to repair a door, replace some trim, fix a leaking fixture or take care of something around your home, you're doing more than paying for a repair.

You’re helping rescue animals.

Every job helps provide food, veterinary care, transportation, shelter and everything else needed to continue the mission of Villa La Beast.

Over the years, Villa La Beast has helped hundreds of animals, particularly Great Pyrenees and other livestock guardian dogs, find safe homes and farms. My goal with Villa Works is to create another sustainable way to support that mission while providing honest, dependable and reasonably priced home services to our community.

So when something around your house needs fixing, consider letting that repair do a little more.

🐾 **WELCOME LEO TO VILLA LA BEAST!** 🐾

Massive is probably an understatement with this guy. 😂 Leo is BIG, powerful, and definitely intimidating when you first meet him.

But once you get past the size, the bark, and that “I could probably eat you” first impression… look at him. ❤️ He’s actually a pretty chill dude who just needed a chance to settle in and realize he’s safe.

Welcome home, Leo. Another big boy officially joining the Villa La Beast family. 🐶🏡

As always, every donation helps us continue taking in dogs like Leo, covering feed, vet care, transportation, and everything else that goes into giving these guys another shot.
