🎃🍬 WE NEED YOUR HELP, GHOULS & GOBLINS! 🐈‍⬛🐾

Percy’s Angelic Cat Rescue is gearing up for Surf’s Halloween Fundraiser, and we need a little help from our wonderful community to make it a SPOOKTACULAR success! 🧡💜

🍭 CANDY DONATIONS NEEDED! 🍭

We are collecting bags of individually wrapped candy to help make our Halloween fundraiser a success! Every donation helps us raise much-needed funds for Surf’s ongoing medical care and other cats and kittens in need.

📍 CANDY DROP-OFF LOCATION:
Elledge Automotive Services
930 Chapin Road
Chapin, SC 29036

A HUGE thank you to Elledge Automotive Services for graciously serving as a collection location! ❤️

🐾 WE ALSO HAVE AN URGENT WISHLIST NEED! 🐾

🎉UPDATE🎉 the scale has been ordered for us! But we do ALWAYS need wet and dry food for the kitties if you would still like to order something else from our wishlist !

Our rescue’s pet scale recently broke, and we desperately need a replacement! 😿

A reliable scale is essential for monitoring the weights of our kittens, calculating proper medication dosages, and keeping track of cats recovering from illnesses.

⚖️ We have added a new $37.49 pet scale to our Amazon Wishlist, and we would be incredibly grateful if someone could help us purchase it!

❤️ WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Every piece of candy donated, every wishlist item purchased, and every act of kindness helps us continue giving a voice to cats who cannot speak for themselves.

We are an entirely volunteer-run rescue, and we simply cannot do this without YOU!

🎃 Please SHARE this post, donate some candy, or help us replace our scale!

Thank you for helping Surf and so many other deserving kitties get the second chances they deserve! 🐈🐾

🐾 URGENT HELP NEEDED IN NEWBERRY COUNTY! 🐾

COURTESY POST…

This sweet boy needs a helping hand! ❤️

We are hoping someone in our community might be willing to temporarily foster him until he can be reunited with his person.

If fostering is not an option, perhaps some kindhearted animal lovers would be willing to donate toward temporary boarding expenses so he has a safe place to stay in the meantime.

Every little bit of kindness makes a difference! Sometimes all it takes is a community coming together to keep a beloved pet safe. 🐱💕

Please share or reach out if you can help! 🐾 We will connect you with his family! 🐈‍⬛

🏡💗🐾 CREAMSICLE HAS FINALLY FOUND HIS FUREVER HOME! 🐾💗🏡

Sometimes, the best things in life are worth waiting for. And for our sweet Creamsicle, that wait has been OVER A YEAR! 🧡

Creamsicle 🐈 has been with Percy’s Angelic Cat Rescue patiently waiting for someone to see past three little letters: FIV+.

Sadly, cats who test positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) are often overlooked simply because people do not understand what that diagnosis means.

📚 LET’S TALK ABOUT FIV!

🐱 FIV is NOT a death sentence! Many FIV+ cats live long, happy, healthy lives with proper care.

🐱 FIV is NOT contagious to humans or dogs! It is a virus specific to cats.

🐱 FIV+ cats CAN live with FIV-negative cats! FIV is primarily transmitted through deep bite wounds, not through sharing food bowls, litter boxes, grooming, or cuddling. Cats who get along peacefully can often live together safely.

🐱 FIV+ cats deserve loving homes, too! They need the same things every other cat needs: nutritious food, routine veterinary care, a safe indoor environment, and LOTS of love!

Unfortunately, the stigma surrounding FIV means that wonderful cats like Creamsicle can spend months or even YEARS waiting for adoption.

And that is exactly why we NEVER gave up on him. 💗

Yesterday, Creamsicle finally began his happily ever after! 🏡🐈

We are beyond grateful to his new family for opening their hearts and home to this handsome orange boy. They saw Creamsicle for WHO he is, not simply his medical diagnosis.

PLEASE, when considering adoption, do not automatically overlook an FIV+ cat. Educate yourself, ask questions, and give these deserving animals a chance.

A positive test does not mean a cat has less love to give. It does not mean that cat is less deserving of a family.

Sometimes, the cat who has waited the longest has the MOST love to give. 🥹

🧡 Congratulations, Creamsicle! Your rescue family loves you, and we could not be happier that your furever finally arrived!

🐾 Meet Ollie! 🐾

Sweet little Ollie was found at Boundary Street Elementary School in Newberry, and we are SO thankful for the wonderful teacher who stepped up to foster this precious baby. 💙🐝

We are concerned about possible injuries to Ollie’s back legs, so he will need veterinary care at PetCare of Newberry to determine exactly what is going on and what treatment he may need.

Ollie’s story is also an important reminder of why education and responsible pet ownership matter so much. Compassion for animals can start at a very young age. Teaching children about proper pet care, kindness toward animals, and what to do when they find an animal in need helps create a more responsible and compassionate community for the future. ❤️🐾

If you would like to help Ollie, please consider sending supplies from our Amazon Wishlist or making a monetary donation toward his veterinary care and the medical needs of the many other cats and kittens currently in our care.

Every donation helps us continue saying YES when cats and kittens like Ollie need someone to step up for them. 🐈🐈‍⬛

THANK YOU for supporting Percy’s Angelic Cat Rescue, and a very special thank you to the educator 👩‍🏫 who showed her students firsthand what compassion looks like.

Education. Compassion. Responsibility. 🐾📚
