Unless you’re Kodi….

If you’re cold, they’re cold. 🐾❄️

Many areas of the U.S. are experiencing severe winter weather and dangerous cold snaps this weekend. Pets in regions that don’t typically see these temperatures may be at even greater risk.

Cold stress, frostbite, and hypothermia can happen faster than many pet caregivers realize.

Encourage your clients and community to:
🏠Bring pets indoors
🌬️ Limit time outside, even for “cold-tolerant” breeds
🛏️Provide warm, dry shelter and bedding
🐾🧂 Check paws for ice, salt, and injury

While some cold-weather breeds have insulated double coats that help protect them in snow, no dog is immune to frostbite or hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

A simple reminder can prevent an emergency visit. Share this message to help keep pets safe during the coldest days of the season. ❄️
