These kittens are in safe space! Although they look very uncomfortable in these short clips, most of the time they VERY much enjoy their day.
These are stray/feral kittens that are beginning their journey of socialization, and therefore they can still be very reactive or easily triggered (Can I get an amen!?). However I am very happy to see every little step towards rewiring their little brains. "People are okay. Cat people are pawsome!"
Yes they're still very watchful.
I purrfectly well understand how that feels. I am proud of them. They know only what their mama taught them, and as stray/street cat, she taught them to be very watchful. Be bold. Hiss first!
I understand. I really do.
There's nothing like working with a feral litter to remind us all that healing journeys are so complex. As well as they're so worth the time & investment!

Which makes me think...
To everyone who's working on their own healing journey (specially those just starting) and to all the ameowzing foster parents, especially those of us who thought another feral litter would be a good idea at this time 😅

Everyone has talents that help them to be their unique greatness!
You might EASILY be able to do something that would terrify someone else in the same situtaion. You may have hobbies that someone else would never think of! You might be a great friend to someone who's in need of Cat Lady friendship.
Remember that all your talents & gifts are made for you to be master of them! You are uniquely yourself. May you know that and live it fearlessly 🦁 😽

I know this sounds like a line, but I honestly mean it when I say:
It's always a good idea to get an extra toy from us, because in my experience cats do NOT share our organic catnip toys.
Yes, we can always send you more!
Our online "catnip kitchen" is always open and ready to serve, but in the meantime ... don't be fooled by stale-store bought cat toys. Keep Up Creations aims to make powerful, grippable, skill-sharpening, organic catnip toys.
Even our cat testers who always have access to wonderfully fresh toys everyday, still do not kindly share with their bestie. The scent of organic catnip is just too tempting!

Grief can look very different on every single person.
With the recent passing of the icon Dolly Parton, with the heaviness the world can be these days, the Keep Up Creations clowder (cat pack) just wants to remind you to take some time to process through the griefs you have been holding. 🤍

Sometimes that's sitting with waves of emotions. Sometimes it's moving your body and allowing emotions to release that way. Sometimes it's a hug or a cuddle and sharing the nervous system of another. Sometimes it's just saying out loud that you have negative feelings and what happened feels unfair.

Each of these is a possible step. Each step allows us to process a different aspect of what's happened.
There's no map. There's no time schedule.
There's just change that darkness into dawn little by little 🌄

Sometimes you can see the calculations in their faces. Other times it's slow blinks that cover up a master plan, which will continue as soon as you leave the room.
It seems like the Keep Up Creations clowder always have something going on. And honestly..? I wouldn't have it any other way.
Activity and imagination in use show signs of living a happy, safe, and expansive life. I love that for my cats 🥰
