Today marks Kelly's 9 year anniversary with Scott Lake! Kelly is the goofball of the clinic. You will catch the staff cracking up at her shenanigans and antics. She thrives in surgery, but she also enjoys helping patients and clients in appointments. We are thankful to have her as a technician and a friend. Help us wish her a Happy Anniversary!

Summer is almost here, and with that comes the risk of heatstroke for our pets. There are many variables that play a role in their risk. For example, brachycephalic breeds (pugs, bulldogs, etc.) are at a higher risk as well as large breed dogs with long fur or a double coat. Exercise caution anytime temperatures are above 80*F, keeping in mind that humidity levels can also increase their risk.

Contact your Veterinarian if you notice signs of heat stroke (incoordination or weakness, excessive panting or drooling, bright red or pale gums, collapse).

Today marks Dr. Tom's 8 year anniversary with Scott Lake! He is an important member of our team. Although he loves meeting with clients and patients for appointments, he thrives when he is in surgery performing the more involved procedures. He is our go to surgeon for exploratories, splenectomies, and he most recently placed a feeding tube in a kitty who needed his help. When he isn't at the clinic, he is likely spending time with his family, gardening, or grilling. Help us wish him a Happy Anniversary!
