Having more fun in the sun with your horse? Higher activity means you should pay attention to your horse’s water intake. Most horses don’t like to drink hot water, so make sure you have sources of cool water available. Consider adding electrolytes to feed that can help horses replenish minerals like potassium, sodium and chloride lost through sweat.
