In 1925, Josef Weber purchased the property from Colonel Schwartzkopf of the New Jersey State Police. By the way, this was General Norman Schwartzkopf's father, a child he had spent many happy days with on the property. Josef Weber had an international reputation as one of the originators of obedience training in this country. His clients were an international "who's who" of the famous and the inf

amous: heads of state, captains of industry, sports celebrities, academics, Nobel laureates, and other, less savory characters, too. In 1946, Jack Blumenthal and Milton Horowitz, David's father, purchased the boarding kennel and training school from Josef Weber and also founded the Princeton Animal Hospital on the property.
