CANINE EVOLUTION IS HIRING | DOG TRAINER | PRINCETON, MN
We’re adding to the Canine Evolution team and are looking for a dog trainer in PRINCETON, MN, located about an hour north of the Twin Cities.
The opening is currently part-time, with the possibility of discussing full-time for the right person.
This role can include Board & Trains, private lessons, group classes, basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, and specialty/sport training. Our trainers work with a wide range of dogs, from puppies learning foundational skills to more involved behavior cases.
Dog sports are also a big part of what we do. We’re involved in PSA/protection sports, Barn Hunt, disc, FastCAT, and more, so someone who enjoys dog sports or wants to become more involved in them would be a great fit.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has dog training or professional dog-handling experience
* Is comfortable working with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
* Is reliable, motivated, and able to work independently
* Communicates well and enjoys working with clients as much as dogs
* Has an interest in behavior work and/or sport training
* Wants to continue learning and advancing their skills as a trainer
We place a strong emphasis on continuing education for our trainers, including hands-on mentorship, seminars, conferences, educational opportunities, and exposure to a variety of trainers, sports, and training cases.
There is plenty of opportunity for this role to expand as Canine Evolution continues to grow.
