Somerset Regional Animal Hospital

Behind every happy tail, purr, belly rub, nail trim, vaccine, blood draw, surgery and "I swear he never does this at home!" is a team of hardworking veterinary professionals who give it their all every single day. 🩷

This year we have decided to celebrate our amazing team with a little adventure of our own!
The hospital will be closed on Friday October 16th so our staff can step away from the phones, leave the scrubs behind and enjoy a well deserved day together at Busch Gardens! 🎢

Yes...your veterinary team will be running around a theme park instead of running around the treatment room! If you are lucky, you might even get to see a few behind the scene photos. 😏So please stay tuned! 📷

🚨 We'll be back to our normal business hours on Monday October 19th, hopefully with slightly sore feet, lots of stories, and absolutely no regrets about that funnel cake! 🚨

We are incredibly grateful for our wonderful clients who trust us with their beloved pets and continue to support our team. We are lucky to have such an amazing group of people (and their equally amazing fur babies) in our lives. Thank you for helping us celebrate the people who spend their days taking care of your pets! 🐕🐱

Taking a brief break from the adoptable dogs to discuss CATobter!

October 9th, also known as CATober, is a day to observe and celebrate our feline friends, the love they bring to the table and the silly memories they have created. 🐱 How are you going to celebrate that special cat in your life today?

We would love nothing more if our comments were flooded with photos of your kitties! We want to hear the stories on how you met, how long its been since adoption/ rescue, their favorite things, naughty behaviors, little quirks, knowing who really saved who, give us alllllll the details!! 🥰🩷

Nothing says "Happy Friday" like photos of toe beans, heart-warming stories and belly aching laughs!

Did you know that October is national "Adopt a Shelter Dog Month"?! 🐕

❤️ Are you looking for your new best friend?
🧡 A travel companion?
💛 Your daily motivation?
💚 How about a couch potato ready to share your evening snacks?
💙 Our local shelters have so many cuties to choose from!

All month long, we will be posting dogs from our local shelters and rescues that are still waiting for their forever home. Our hope is to get some of these long term residents into a family setting where they can begin their journey to the long and happy life they deserve!

Even if you are not ready or able to adopt, sharing these posts can help find the right family looking for their new best friend. Keep an eye out for the dog you have been longing for because chances are, they need you just as much!

‼️Please remember that adoption is a HUGE commitment. Adopt responsibly.‼️
